From when I turned about 8 years old, to now, I have yet to hear something new coming from all of these assembies and conventions and crap.

USA service activity has resulted in LESS publishers this year than last year. Keep up the good work!

    Heehee.

Life is so simple without wt rules, regulations, guidelines, directions, principles, policies, unwritten rules, traditions, gossip scares, end of the world scares, shortage scares, elder nosiness, elderette nosiness, co and do inspections, field service reports, quotas, conscioussness about appearances, fears about stumbling others, fear of upsetting jehoover ...

Each day, one at a time. Simply cool.

**remembers mother nudging everytime a ''good point'' was made**

YUCK your mother did this to you too?

I hated that. She would also nudge (or sometimes slap me on the shoulder) when she wanted me to answer. I did just that too, like a little robot.

I couldn't get it quite right....

I kept hearing them saying "keep a simple lie"

The theme of the special assembly day is hardly "timely"; in fact it's too late: Hasn't the horse already bolted? Talk about meat in due season. The meat's now putrid and stinks.

    Nauseating.

I recently found out that my step son will be applying to bethel when he turns 19 and is regular pioneering since September so that he can have 18 solid moths of regular pioneering on the application. So his senior year will be wasted, and no doubt his grades will suffer because of this too. So sad to watch a very intelligent, but misguided, young man throw his life away to this garbage, another generation of kids wasting their lives.

Maybe its a good thing your stepson is going to Bethel, caligirl. Seems like seeing what actually goes on in the holy of holies causes quite a few to leave the "truth".

After about three years in, you've run through all of the topics at least once and the mind-numbing repetition really kicks in. Every so often you'll have a good speaker who is able to say something in a different way and freshen it up a bit, but those are rare.

I glad I'm out too. No more ruined weekends listening to how inadequate I am or how I should be living in an efficiency apartment with no television, internet or newspapers....being simple.

I find it funny that many of the old-school Dub parents...do the ***nudge nudge*** whenever there's a "good point" made...

I've found that almost NONE of them have really pioneered or done ANYTHING "spiritually progressive" in da troof.

And many times if you check on Brother or Sister "old farts" credentials...you'll find they aren't as they want you to think...Example...Brother Methuselah the Pioneer... only pioneered for one year back in 1941 to avoid Guadalcanal....Sister Bitchintherear pioneered one year back in 1960 to "get" a good brother...then quickly moved on to being a materialistic, judgemental elderette.

Brother Trusts in Jah...had a trustfund (that no one knew about) and made everyone else feel guilty about not "relying on Jah enough"...while working two jobs, keeping the wolves at bay and STILL NOT DOING ENOUGH- this one really pisses me off!!!

Most Dub parents want their kids to do things they WOULD NEVER DO themselves...

    I rest my case.
