Everything OUTSIDE of the boring, unfulfilling meetings, god awful door to door work, and endless assemblies...I pretty much enjoyed being around the people and having get togethers.
Its always been my contention that I dont hate the JWs who are as hapless as we were...I ABHOR the Society.
my jw in laws send us these types of emails every once in a while .
never is there any real personal correspondence from them and it irritates me.

Ok Im back to being confused Spike. I thought they NULLIFIED your baptism, or wouldnt let you go through with it and now you say you WERE baptized a JW?? Or are you talking about baptizm somewhere else?
If you werent baptized you ARENT A JW nor can you be DISFELLOWSHIPPED if you were never a JW. Unless you just dont make any progress and the elders consider you a waste of time...they should be willing to study with you.
There are cases where people became or tried to become, permanent long term bible studies and they never made any "progress" towards becoming a JW, they only liked the companionship and the weekly visits and wanted to continue that.
If they wont study with you...I hold little hope for them ever baptizing you.

the wt leadership has hammered into all of it's elders and rank & file's heads, that it is not wise for a man to be alone with a woman he is not married too (adult or young woman... ie 14).
even in congregation sanctioned duties.. so, why, then, do so many service pairings involve just that: a brother alone in the territory (even if it's to make a call) with a sister he's not married to?.
But he is not allowed to be alone with this mystery woman...so they would have to agree to meet in like a Starbucks or all night Dennys for these deep discussions.

We sat in a circle with a candle in the middle of the table, joined hands and someone called her to us. To appear to us, to give us a sign...and the basement got cold and the flame of the candle was moving like there was wind in there. I wasnt the same for WEEKS after that. The hair stood up on my neck.

Also in GIRL SCOUTS no less....we did levitation. Two people, small people, locked only fingers and I...much larger than the two of them...sat on their fingers and they raised me above their heads like I weighed NOTHING. Freaked me out so bad that I screamed and broke the ...whatever it was...and came crashing down. While I was up there, I was light headed and there was a ringing in my ears. Just really weird shit. Again...what was the scout leader thinking getting us involved in something like that??

i always wondered why jw's were always so afraid of ouija(pronounced as "wee-yaw" not "wee-gee") boards.

I played with one with a friend when we were...about 13. 1968 Neither of us JWs nor had I even heard of JWs. Supposedly it answered all kinds of questions for us, but the one i remember the most was that it said I was going to die in the year 2023 of gangrene of the big toe.
It's plastic and pressboard. People who are afraid of things can see and hear and imagine them doing all kinds of horrible things. (like Smurf DOLLS and garage sale dresser drawers) If they are manufactured with SPIRITS already in them, then they must have an assembly line of demons at Parker Brothers ready to be packed into the boxes with the pointers.

even for many years after.. this would show that your hurt by them df you.
when someone we love hurts us its natural to want to hurt them back because we have feelings for them.so im thinking that many have love for jehovah still??
Spike for the life of me, I cant figure out why you think the JWs have the answers to your spiritual journey. Why dont you look into other religions as long as you are on the outside looking in at this one? Once you become a JW...you will no longer be allowed to be like the Bereans and ask and compare and research or you will find yourself on the sidewalk again with your bookbag and your song book tossed out the door behind you.
