just want to know why some of you,not all,please dont think im meaning all of you because that truly isnt the case,claim to be happy for leaving the truth,being df etc yet you continue to speak about jehovah or attack him or the organisation??

even for many years after.. this would show that your hurt by them df you.

when someone we love hurts us its natural to want to hurt them back because we have feelings for them.so im thinking that many have love for jehovah still??

The biggest falsehood proclaimed by the WTS is that JEHOVAH and ORGANIZATION are the SAME ENTITY. That to leave one is to LEAVE THE OTHER. Which means that people IN the Organization believe they are one with God Himself and above all the rest of humanity. A very lofty self righteous position is it not. To LEAVE the Almighty Watchtower (echo echo echo) therefore means the immediate label of Under Satan and evil, and apostate, and bitter and vengeful and.....guilty as charged. No matter what a persons reason for leaving was...you MUST have done something EVIL and SINFUL to have been either kicked out or slithered away. And thats EXACTLY the way the WTS wants you to think of ex members. So...I can see clearly it is working with you.

Why would a raped person want to help prevent others from being raped? Why would a molested child want vengeance against his molestor? Why are there support groups for those people?

Why are people disfellowshipped for joining the YMCA but the Watchtower Society can join the UNITED NATIONS for 10 years with absolutely no sanctions? And without TELLING anybody?

Why can the Watchtower Society and its robots the Governing Body, write article after article of hurtful, nasty comments about EVERY OTHER RELIGION ON THE PLANET and yet yell foul when someone DARES to point on their hypocrisy and propagandising??

Think about the above when you question our need to reach out and help others get out of this masochistic cult.

i have read on here of the frequent flyer points racked up by bethelites etc on wts business and it made me think of this.. .

frequent liar points.

the wts has told so many lies to its members, the public and the media that if there were points accumulated for frequent lies then surely they would have a huge tally of them.. .

even in congregation sanctioned duties.. so, why, then, do so many service pairings involve just that: a brother alone in the territory (even if it's to make a call) with a sister he's not married to?.

Its hard. I think the more they pressure people to not be alone, the more people try to BE alone. But stick to groups of people when you want to be together physically. And talk on the phone to get to know each other more personally.

There arent scriptures about that. It's just the WTS controlling every move you make. But you should, if you care so much about the JWS...seek first to become a baptized publisher in good standing before you woo any sisters. Thats only fair to them.

Sometimes it just happens that men and women they arent married to end up out in service. They dont mind that so much as TRAVELING to the service territory together and alone. They will frown on that and stop it if they see it happening.

I went to a JW wedding and I was single. I was not allowed to DANCE with any man there that was married. I sat pretty much through the entire wedding reception. :(

compiled from letters, diaries, newspapers, weather reports,etc.

to give a detailed, day by day account of the historical military episode.. only a couple hundred pages into it but it is like being there.

When I used to sign in our congregation (I taught myself how to do a pretty rustic sign english for two deaf "friends" who were struggling to read lips of brothers with mustaches. :( ) Later they changed it so you couldnt sign certain things..like the public talks...unless you were a male because you were teaching. And then they made it so that the MEN could count TIME for signing the public talk but WOMEN COULDNT DO IT.

Pissed me off royal. Had to quit when they regulated the crap out of it and only ASL was allowed and only THAT when you went to society regulated classes to learn their particular SIGNS so you didnt do things that were pagan.

should i report this child abuser?

i've already posted this on a recent thread, but just in case it gets ignored, i wanted it to have a thread of its own.

as i'm quite uncertain as to what to do.... in the area that i just moved to i have discovered that there is a jw here that i used to know.

the interesting thing about this jw is that when i knew him 20 years ago he fled my congo because a young sister spoke up and said that he had been raping her for years as a child.

some feel that it is enough for the witnesses to understand a few major doctrines correctly.

whatever doctrines are important to you--trinity, hellfire, the soul, etc--if the jws are in agreement with your own beliefs on the subject, is that enough to make them a religion worth being a part of?.

the society is fond of using the illustration of a beautifully prepared, tasty and nutritious meal.

There might be "34,000 Christian denominations" out there but how many of them put THEMSELVES in the position of mediator between man and God like the Watchtower Society does? How many of them say that Jesus is NOT mediator to believers except for only a finite number of baptized members of only THEIR cult?
