My ex husband makes me feel bad:(

for leaving him (1.5 y ago) and for being a person he doesn't recognize anymore for leaving the org.. he still has feelings for me and still grieves every day that we're not together...i know it shouldn't get to me but it does...i had no choice but to leave him...i was so miserable for so many reasons but when i hear how sad he is it makes me sad.

(we have to have some contact coz of the apartment we lived in, unfortunately).

i just wish he could move on but he says he can't even look at another woman.. also, of course, he had to say that jehovah still loves me and that the end is sooooooooo near, just look at haiti!.

Well having just moved out of the house from my estranged JW husband after 22 years of marriage I can relate to this. He "stopped" even being civil to me and when I was unhappy about anything he would always say "What did you expect? You left Jehovah!" And a person can only take so much of that. Its abuse. The condition of him being "happy" apparently was me having to eat shit and come back to the Kingdom Hall apparently. And even when I WAS an active JW we were NOT happy...so thats not even an option.

His happiness is NOT my responsibility. All that guilt crap is just so you will feel bad. I think they enjoy making us feel bad. I dont hear in your post that he misses YOU and wants YOU back and wants the RELATIONSHIP back...only that he wishes you would go back to the Borg??

i knew some elders that were very reluctant to go after certain people because those people knew little secrets that they kept to themselves.. many bethelites i knew were huge drinkers.

there was kind of an unwritten pact that if you were cool with it, you were part of the "in" group= you would get "privileges" and bigshots would be your "friends".. did you ever have something over another witness?

Oh man...I had so much dirt on people I needed a wheelbarrow to carry it around. But you know what? It made them all HUMAN and REAL and not at all "Gods Chosen Ones". And while that determination made me realize I was hyping and selling hypocrisy door to door and I immediately quit doing that, it also drove me straight out the door of the Kingdoom Hall. They can wallow in their dirt and their double lives WITHOUT ME.

Some of them I called up before I left and told them what I knew...BROTHERS included. And while they backpeddled and apologized and were embarrassed...I walked. One of them however, who was a notorious male whore, was online running a JW S&M club and cheating on his wife and bringing young brothers from the hall to prostitutes and bars in the city and then coming back and giving TALKS....walking free amongst Gods People slimier than maggot on roadkill. Him I turned into the elders. For the sake of his wifes HEALTH.

note the dig on university and "higher education" (especially sad for a poor country like haiti with poorly educated masses).. randy.

Yes I WAS like that when I was a Witness thinking that we were taking care of our own and that was some kind of righteous...and I HATE that I was like that! The rest of the planet doesnt see these people as Catholic or Lutheran or Agnostic or practicing Voodoo....they are PEOPLE and they need HELP!!!!

So fuck the Watchtowers humanitarian efforts to ONLY save their OWN!!

Ugh...they are selfish despicable human beings!!! I only read ONE COMMENT on that JW FACEBOOK site where the asshole said that people who were crushed calling on God deserved to be because they didnt invoke Jehovahs name. They said it with such self absorbed, self important, self righteous MOCKERY of the faith of the Haitian people that I seriously could have killed that person if he was in front of me with my bare hands.

Randy...seriously...how can you stomach this stuff....ugh...

This same bullshit occurs with EVERY DISASTER!! The JWs sit around like the boys mocking the bald man, saying that Sister So and So was supposed to go to work or school that day and didnt and so JEHOVAH SAVED THEM but the brother who was killed because he was at the top of the Trade Center on 9/11 doing his JOB was killed because his HOURS WERENT HIGH ENOUGH! in the april 15, 2010 wt, the new governing body of jw's have once again changed their ever problematic teaching regarding the "generation" that saw the sign jesus spoke of mt: 24:32-34.

(note, all references to "generation" in this article are in reference to this passage in mt 24).

the reason that this shows why the governing body is a fraud is very simple.

All they are doing is what many grocery chains do with old meat. Slap some more red dye on it, put a new label on it, and put it out there looking all cute and new so the unsuspecting consumers will eat it up unquestioningly....even if it stinks.

Wireless Router advice...BEST one with Comcast??

gawd im frustrated.

all i want to do is get online and have it stay online.

i have had two wireless routers since only may and cant seem to get online and retain connection or any kind of "speed" and i use that term very loosely...and want to know what wireless routers you guys recommend.. comcast came out and said my signal was strong and that they are happily going to charge me for coming out and telling me so since it wasnt a comcast "problem".
