an interesting video was on youtube with a person claiming that the memorial date for 2024 was wrong.

so i consulted three different jewish calendars online and sure enough, he appears to be right.

i went back to 2014 and forward to 2027. they have the future dates listed.

Ok...so the Bible Students have it correct. The Aid book and the Insight Book BOTH talk about Adar II as being a part of the calendar in Israelite times. So the Society can't say it's due to a modern calendar. So what needs to be done in my personal opinion (not that it will happen), is they need to make a correction on this and reschedule the memorial immediately. Starting to wonder if all this crap they have undergone recently, (child abuse, etc) is making the "spirit" retract.

I went back to 2014 and forward to 2027. They have the future dates listed. In the cases, MOST dates line up with the calendars I am finding online. BUT 2024 is incorrect. Passover is listed in April of this year due to Adar II being added. I thought maybe the Society didn't account for the second Adar. Wrong! In 2022 there was an Adar II that placed Nisan 14 on April 15, 2022. The Memorial was held on April 15, 2022. The previous Adar II was in 2019, placing Nisan 14 on April 19, 2019, the date of that year's Memorial. But in 2016, the same scenario as this year produced itself. Adar II was that year, BUT the Memorial was celebrated on Sunday March 24, 2016 (ironically the same day and date as 2024). But before in 2014, it was correct using the Adar II calculation. 2027, the Adar II issue rises again, placing Nisan 14 on April 21, 2027. Sometimes it's off a day due to the observance of when the new moon is in JERUSALEM and then counting 14 days foward, so it could be either the 20th, 21st or 22nd. So what gives in allowing supposed flexibility in WHEN they can use Adar II at their discretion? I posted the link with Jewish calendar that I primary used. This should be interesting!

I hope this is in the right area. I've been studying the 2520 days/years 607/587/586 debacle. For a while now I have felt 1914 was wrong. I starting thinking it in 1995 when the generation teaching was changed. I was doing some interesting number crunching today. I hope you can follow me on this and why I got chills when I saw this.

The Jewish Calendar has 12 months at 30 days, so 360 days a year. But every 19 year cycle (cycle is important in this), there are seven extra months added, so seven years have a "leap month" for lack of a better terminology. So take 360 days times 19 years gives you 6,840 days, plus add another 210 days to give you 7,050 days per cycle.

So that means in 2,520 years there are 132.631 cycles or periods.

So take your 6,840 and multiply it by 132.631 and you get 907,196 days.

Take your 210 days from your extra months per 19 years and get 27,852/27,853. (Right in the middle for rounding up or down.

So 907,196 plus 27,853 give you 935,049 days between the fall of Jerusalem and the end of the Gentile times, Jesus throws Satan out of heaven.

I started with October 1, 1914 and subtracted 935,049. it came up with Monday, September 9, 647. Nothing of significance.

I went to October 1, 1934 and subtracted 935,049. Friday, September 9, 627. Oh well. (Figured for 20 years off.)

Then for fun, I put in October 1, 1975 and subtracted 935,049. WOAH! Sunday, September 9, 586!

I thought that Fred Franz at one point told a group in a special program, "Something happened in 1975, but we're not telling."

If 607 is wrong, 587/86 is indeed correct, something did happen in 1975. I hope the chronology would be corrected. Of course a house of cards would crumble but it's better to be correct than stubborn.

I Thought we had Friends!

i am a life long jw, but this issue i'm going through has taken the cake.. i am in a job situation that is not good.

and we were promised to us in our old hall that we would have a roof over our head for us an our animals.

so i gave notice on thursday then went to call by so-called jw friends and they backed out and claimed he now couldn't let us move in and broke the deal.

I am a life long JW, but this issue I'm going through has taken the cake.

I am in a job situation that is not good. And we were PROMISED to us in our old hall that we would have a roof over our head for us an our animals. So I gave notice on Thursday then went to call by so-called JW Friends and they backed out and claimed he now couldn't let us move in and broke the deal. I had told him about the cats and dogs both earlier, said it was fine, then basically said "be warm and well fed". Not only that but the son in law to help us move promised to help us when we needed it but claims he now cant, his transmission is out.

So then I had to call my boss, thank goodness he is my friend too, and tell him I wasn't leaving so now I have to see if he can even pay me (that's the issue with this job), it's sporadic at best.

So basically I am homeless, on the verge of losing my 'kids", two dogs and three cats, (one of which has been with me for 21 years!) and no where to go.

I have been getting messages from other people I know, religious leaders even, offering to try to help me.

I have been saying for a long time there is no love in the "organization" and I am seeing it at work and it's about the last straw in for me. Like I said, I'm lifelong, third generation JW, but the way I am being treated is tearing me up! They always said we would be taking care of each other in the "tribulation" but now I doubt it. I think they will be killing each other. And now I'm left wondering if I have wasted the last 45 years of my life with this.

I know other things that have gone on with the Pyramid, change in 1914 1975 etc. But Jesus said the greatest commandment of all was love among yourselves. And I'm not seeing it so I am wondering who is right now.
