if i ever get the threat of being df'd i think i will say :.

" the religion i left a few years ago no longer exists, you can't disfellowship me from a religion that i never had fellowship in !"..

i know this will make no difference at all, as would whatever i said if they had made up their minds, but it would point out how very very silly the whole idea would be.. any other ideas to briefly sum up what a stupid thing dfing is ?.

StarTrekAngel, that's exactly what happened.

I attended my last meeting in January 2014, my wife then informed the elders that I was an apostate.

They wanted to meet me. I said "sure".

But I told them that I'll be recording the meeting and inviting ANYONE who is interested, to join us.

They're used to dealing with people who want to remain in the Org.

Those who want to remain will abide by the rules of strict secrecy.

So, if you want to leave and not be df'd, tell them you WILL be recording the meeting and you WILL bring friends/family along too.

Have some fun, don't take them seriously.

Take control & lose the fear.

Tell the elders that you will turn up with a camcorder and some worldly family/friends as observers of divine justice.

The JC won't happen.

You won't be df'd.

They want everything done in secret.

the jw's are quick to tell you that when jehovah has finished kicking the ass of those who do not acknowledge the teachings of the watchtowers governing body in new york state, that those who survive will live forever in a restored paradise on earth.

the same goes for those who are resurrected during the 1000 year reign of jesus and survive satan being let loose "for a little while" at the end.. they are also quick to tell you that everything will be just as it was for adam and eve before the latter decided she needed a fruit fix and then got her hubby high on it as well.. and when you view the illustrations in their publications showing what they view this paradise to be, it shows a world of lush color.

the deep greens of all the trees and grass, the clean blue skies, puffy white clouds and tables covered in a plethora of fresh fruits and vegetables representing just about every major color.

Donny, interesting thread, but you clearly haven't thought this through.

Look again at the artwork at the end of your opening post - It contains CHILDREN.

Of course all of the perfect faithful J-Dubs/resurrected ones will be naked, but if the F&DS print literature with naked, smiling children it will surely attract paedophiles to the Organization.

The congregations would quickly become a paedo's paradise!

I enjoy their videos.

You can see how genuinely happy they are to be free of the JW cult.

They are enthusiastic and only want to help others make informed choices.

I tip my hat to any ex-JW that has the strength to go public on a platform as universally available as YouTube.

I'd like to think one day I'd have the same strength as displayed by Mike & Kim, 'John Cedars', JW Struggle, etc.
