I think the JW grapevine is spreading 'gossip' of a certain couple who may be missing meetings - and perhaps even worse things!
I hate the "investigations" they do. Calling around, browsing FB and other social medias. It's completely nuts!
got a call from an elder in my previous congregation.. as tonight is meeting night, he enquired, "do you have anything on tonight"?.
i was sorely tempted to reply, "yes, a leotard made of spanx"!!!.
he would not have taken it well, so i just said 'no'!.

i was sitting at the meeting the other night and for the first time it hit, jw talks or magazines are never uplifting!
i rarely, if ever hear a talk or read a magazines and have it give nothing but praise to jehovahs servants or just praise jehovah and jesus throughout it.
they never just a read through the bible or just a bible story explained or told.
The watchtower lesson is sickening with how it starts off every study article with some scriptural reference or story-telling only to beat you over the head by paragraph 14. Raw manipulation.
Haha, you know, that actually crossed my mind 2 Sunday's ago during the blood Watchtower. In my mind I could not figure out how we ended up on the blood topic with how the Watchtower started. Full 360 on what started.

i seem to remember that she was not ever dfd even though she was present at the fateful meal, but i don't remember where i saw that.
it seemed like they specifically targeted raymond, but cynthia was left alone.. i tried searching jwn, but the search feature seems to be not working.. also tried googling the answer, but to no avail..
In his book he only mentioned himself if I remember correctly. I actually never gave that much thought. I'd be interested to know the answer.
What I have wondered, and I mean this in the best and respectful way, was what his thoughts were right before he died. Did he regret giving up what he had there, did he having something in the back of his mind like, "What if they're right?". I wonder that because I often wonder about myself when that time comes. I feel things have been implanted into our brain so much that it would almost be impossible not to.

Even on the new broadcasting with family worship. It is always council and direction. Can you remember a Watchtower study on a Sunday that didn't have some lesson, warning or harsh council for everyone? Or better yet a Sunday talk that just explained a chapter or told a biblical account with joy without some warning or lesson attached to it of do’s and don’ts.
I don’t know how I never missed that before, but it literally just dawned on me that EVERYTHING, books, magazines, talks, service, Kingdom Ministry are all counsel and do’s and don’ts!
Are all religions like that? Heck, even in school they just teach a story or history without trying to engrave something in your brain!
did anyone notice this wt's subtle attack on wikipedia?
they wrote (from the 2011 yearbook of jehovah's witnesses, pp.
9-10. source: 'tracing all things with accuracy'):.
I bet the Wiki facts on JW's and JW history is more accurate and unbiased then their new "History Book".
from (the source) 2015, january 13, boe.. .. .

I think this confirms what a lot of us have speculated, the legal department is stretched way too thin and is having trouble keeping up. Be it from real estate, sex crimes and lawsuits. They're asking for money and now lawyers? Are they really in this much hot water?
Can they get any more obvious at this point? The writing is on the wall at this point (Pun intended). They state it's for Real Estate but they will either put them on sex crimes or more the more experienced to the sex crimes and have the new guys do the real estate.
I also like how they put "publisher" in there. I bet Joe publisher with a nice resume will be accepted no problem even if he's looked at you know what within the last year.
That's ironic, tell people not to go to college and then send a letter requesting lawyers. Maybe that's why you're having trouble finding lawyers!?!
this week we have mention of the 12 tribes of israel in the bible study.
we have the same thing mentioned in the wt this week.
12 apostles are also mentioned (need to double check that one).
I'm not sure we'll see 12. There are some power hungry guys as GB right now, the recent changes only support that thinking more. If they add 12 more they run the chance of losing some of that power and being surpassed.
I see it on a local level with the Elders all the time. You have a few power hungry men and they refuse to make any new appointments as Elders.
It would be funny to read that article though about the number 12. Idolizing numbers, that's for sure.
i thought we needed carpenters and plumbers in paradise...oh well... the hypocrisy.
to all bodies of elders in the united states branch territoryre: experienced attorneys and paralegals needed at bethel.
dear brothers:.
They're making the Pharisees look like the good guys! I'm getting very nervous still being on the inside. The WTBTS, making the Pharisees look like amateurs !
