There are some real beauties posted here!
by stillin inthis one is worth repeating.
it was buried in a thread and u've been thinking about it all day.. a quote from mark twain, one of my all-time heroes.. "it's easier to fool a man than it is to convince him that he has been fooled.".
isn't that the truth....

Ridiculous statements in this weeks study article
by the truth is mine inmaybe it is just me but when i read this paragraph all i could do is shake my head and wonder how i used to buy into this crap and how people don't wonder what the hell the writers are thinking'.
"imagine what life would be like if god did not have love for mankind.
we merely have to look at the awful history of this world with its human rulerships under its unloving and wrathful god, satan the devil.

Of course he is "loving"....he watched his own son die just to settle a bet......
But he resurrected his son on the 3rd day, which shows that there is still a bit of love there... but wait - doesn't this invalidate the ransom sacrifice as Jesus did not die without being resurrected like Adam???

WT Study 1/10/16 Encouraging Child Baptism And More Nonsense
by JW_Rogue ini've noticed that each wt lesson really only has one or two points they want remembered.
normally they build up to these by about the third subheading.
this week's lesson though was different, the main point was insidiously made through an experience in the first paragraph:.

There have been many new rules & guidelines which have been introduced by the org in recent times. If this wasn't meant to be a guideline, then the age would NOT even be mentioned at all!
So thanks to all these guidelines, if you are now NOT baptized by 14 & NOT an MS by 23, you would be considered as a spiritual loser!

A possible reason why the GB are becoming more demanding as things worsen
by Listener inbasically because they feel they are not being blessed.. this is not to say that all gb members feel this way.
the power hungry ones love getting the whip out.
the other members incorrectly look to the old testament for answers.. they are telling the sheep to be faithful, dedicated, self sacrificing, serving to the fullest, whole hearted and obedient.

Most articles and videos are telling the sheep to give more. More of their time to field service, the building work, to study, reaching out, giving more money, not to have children and not to spend more than a couple of years in higher education
Correction. They are NOT telling people not to spend more than a couple of years in higher education, but rather they are telling people NOT to go for higher education at all!

No more reporting time for field service!!!
by Khaleesi inso at last i am in my next step of my fade, this month is the first month i did not turned in any hours.
i received a text from our group leader an ms & i told him i didn't have any to report, then of course it got bumped up to the elder & i text him back i have no hours to report for december.
i came to this decision when reading many posters here about the yearbook stats, i do not want & refused to contribute to this organization "boosting" numbers for their glorious purposes, after the rc in australia they do not deserve for me to give them a "production" report of what i do for god, no more.

How about NOT replying at all? That's what I do whenever the elders text me to offer a "friendly" talk with me. Now they can't be bothered at all =)

I put in my last report (with hours & placements) more than a year ago. The next time I was asked for my report, I submitted a blank one with only my name on it. Never got asked for my report again!
