  if a gb member died tomorrow, do the remaining ones choose who gets to be next?.

  The Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body are Elitists (Here is why)

  an "elite" group is one which has special privileges not granted to others.. and obscurantist elite, is a group which hides information by virtue of its own claim to be special and a sole source in dispensing necessary truths.. to wit:.

  the gb's elitism shines through in articles such as this:.

  “thus the bible is an organizational book and belongs to the christian congregation as an organization, not to individuals , regardless of how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the bible .

  Makemeanunbeliever:

  JW's are a little harsh but pale in comparison to some of the religions in those regions.

  Why choose a religion in the first place? If God exists, is he so narrow-minded to destroy BILLIONS of good people just because they are not part of his religion, if any?

  however professional and glossy their pr makeover is, as seen on jw tv and the jw org logo... the bottom line is that 19th century religious adventist claims are no longer sexy..

  to outsiders the jw org now has all the allure of a donkey wearing lipstick..

  so why do you think the borg is encouraging youngsters to get dunked sooner?

  i reckon it's cause they are easy to victimise.

  i mean, some-one could say, keep our secret, nobody will believe you & god wont love you, but think of the power they would have if they say "you will be disfellowshipped," on top.
