God created Satan
Satan misled Adam & Eve
God chose to kill Adam & Eve instead of forgiving them
Who's the murderer?
so took the wives car instead of mine in today, the watchtower was playing, i got to hear t.morris life story as narrated by him, but that is another story entirely... long story short, the study article it went into was about satan.
first of all the person reading sounded like the epitome of a brainwashed drone.
second this is why meeting and hearing these things make me more of an unbeliever than any exjw website.

i find it extremely interesting the comment of one of the posters who is studying with the witnesses.. frank j karasienski 3 days ago .
individuals are flawed..... looking at this article it really makes it look like an organization is hiding the situation.
Yes, I am studying to be a witness, but at the same time I am allowed by the faith to have my own opinions.
LOL... bullshit... he is allowed to express his own opinions as a study, but he will definitely need to conform eventually in order to progress to baptism. Critical thinking & disagreeing with the org after baptism would lead to him being disfellowshipped & shunned. Would love to see the look on his face when that happens!
i was deleted as the cobe after i let my adult child move back home and he admitted that he fornicated under my roof while my wife and i where away on a rbc project.
of course the elder mode in me kicked him out of the house.. the elders moved quickly to remove me because i was too involved in "theocractic activities", i had neglected my adult son.. i accepted this primarily because i didn't want to serve with a boe that did not want me.
i was devastated however because it was the only life i knew.
Abusive speech, blind accusations, jumping to conclusions, wishing misfortune upon others...
No better than a JW!
what is the wackiest...strangest....most unusual jw teaching or practice?
oh, there is one brother that keeps prattling on about "the 5 pillars of faith and worship".
- prayer.
- personal study.
seriously, how can it be ok for someone to say of themselves that they are "by far the meekest and most humble person" on the earth?.
numbers 12:3 'now the man moses was by far the meekest of all the men on the face of the earth'.
yes, moses was so humble that he told everyone about it!!?!.
Wait, wait... let's just take a step back for a moment...
What evidence is there that the book of Numbers was written by Moses?
(Not being a Bible apologist... just saying) =)

5 - Wait on Jehovah
LOL ;)
the great fish aside, what i could never wrap my head around was the repentance of nineveh.. a city of 140,000 heard one lunatic "prophet" who warned repent or die and the entire city from the king to the least repented in ashes.. insight says this was during jeroboam ii - 844 bc to 803 bc.. and yet, scant decades later, in 740 bc, god used these, the ultimate of cruel, sadistic barbarians to destroy israel.. 1. why would god ask this depraved city to repent, and not ask others, including sodom and gomorrah, to repent?.
2. can one honestly believe that, with god as the one reading all of their hearts, all of 140,000 people sincerely repented?.
3. insight describes the assyrians, in 740 bc, as being of unparalleled cruelty.
The idea of Nineveh repenting is deliberately ludicrous. It is exactly equivalent to a christian missionary going to Syria to tell ISIS that they are all very naughty and within a few days they all repent and start going to church.
Great illustration! =)

This story sounds fishy... (pun intended) ;)
