  sorry to be so blunt, but you only have yourself to blame if you realize something is wrong but allow your cognitive dissonance to kick in.

  if you are confronted with facts which are reported by reliable sources which are hard to dispute and deny, and you choose to dismiss these as "apostate lies" rather than looking at these from an objective point of view, it's your fault and you deserve the consequences of willful ignorance!.

  Light Getting Brighter

  hello, maybe someone on here can make some sense out of this:.

  one of the reasons why jws are so quick to believe any changes from the gb is that they believe the light is getting brighter.

  now there have been some teachings that to my knowledge changed at one point but then were reverted back to the original teaching.

  based on what we've seen, it seems to me that of the seven, splane and jackson are the smartest; herd, lett and morris the least intelligent; and sanderson and losch somewhere in the middle.

  Stephen Lett, in his talk justifying 1914 as the year of the "establishment" of the kingdom in heaven: "There is more evidence confirming the existence of the Kingdom than the evidence that would convince us that there’s gravity, electricity, wind."

  JW's claim not to disfellowship any who take blood, BUT they say any who do so automatically disassociate themselves, thus the outcome is the same as the individual is ultimately forced out & shunned!

  How to deal with anxiety?

  lately my mental health has been rapidly declining.

  i have anorexia and deppression, and my anxiety has become overwhelming.

  i have been to many doctors/therapists in the past, but because i have not been magically cured my parents dont want to get me any more help.

  You are now almost an adult, just a short while away from being able to leave home & become independent & free. Don't give up!

  that was a quote from a dyed in the wool jw recently.

  it was a complaint.. we all know that with 'new light(tm)' that the watchtower corporation's version of 'religion' has kept changing for a long time.

  since i remember.....and i go back a long way too.

  Thanks for all the comments. Instead of getting into a debate, I'm just going to state the objective of this thread in a single sentence:

  The objective is to get people to think: "I DON'T deserve it!" and actually do something about it. That's all
