I can't comment on the hotel pool drowning story, but there was also an incident of child drowning in one of the ponds/lakes at one of the convention sites during the lunch break.

i had two elders just "drop in" yesterday...walked around the back of my house and all....rude....i happened to be home, and opened the door.... one is doing spring cleaning at his house, and so in general chit chat, they spoke of how we all dont need to keep the bound volumes or older mags anymore, as everything we need is on the website or cd rom.... i just casually said, "yes, but its nice to have the originals so we can see the original wording and info".
one of them snapped his neck spinning so quick, frothed at the mouth and said "what do you mean changes?...nothing changes!!".

Wouldn't it have been more strategic and advantageous on his part to cause the world's governments to succeed.

There is a scripture somewhere which tells of Jesus arriving and that "every eye will see... blah blah."
The sister giving a talk one night explained to her "householder" that it was an
"invisible presence because it not possible for everyone in the world to literally see Jesus all at the same time".
She goes on...."So we will see him with our "mental" eyes". To which of course the "householder" nods obediently.
In the audience I just completely lost it. I could not stop laughing there were tears running down my face.
I still laugh at the thought of seeing Jesus with our "mental eyes".
