How dishonest was the Apostle Paul?

may be some of you will be shocked by this question.

however, when i was studying the bible with critical eyes i detected that paul ( or saul of tarsus) misquoted the hebrew bible in order to get false support for his arguments.

of course, this tricky kind of use of the "scriptures" was not only used by him, but others, like the author of the gospel of matthew got unsupported doctrines misquoting verses.

Band Green Day and JWs

a few years ago i heard of a story about two jw's being at a green day concert.

i think that the witnesses were bethelites.

the person that told me that story said that the band was about to play but they couldn't.

This happened to friend of a friend of mine.😉

There was a brother see, and he went up to the platform to give a talk and before he started asked if there were any Green Day, John Denver, smurf, Led Zeppelin or Liberace fans in the audience coz he could not continue if they were there as it would impede the flow of holy sprirt. So a goth, a cowboy, a small child, a hippy, and a little old lady walked out in tears, to the boo's of the ones that remained.

Then the brother gave his talk on Showing Love in this Time of the End.

so i was seating at the meeting this past sunday.

the latest wt article to be studied speaks of "using our imagination" to think about the blessings of the kingdom.

the whole study was centered around how we can, and should, spent time visualizing ourselves in the new world, working along with our brothers.

in my cong ( my wives cong.

) there is a lady who attends every meeting , minus the field service just like a regular dub.

it just seems odd she has not taken the dip yet.

I guess some are addicted to the special treatment and free pass you get while unbaptized.

Get everyone running around after you, being extra careful not to offend you lest a"millstone be tied around their neck..." for "stumbling one of theses little ones" blah blah.

These people aren't slow they're smart, putting off baptism puts off accountability.

i was baptized then i was 15 years old and just entering high school.

i had been a perfect jw teenager through out my high school years, although i craved to be a little bit worldly.

when i graduated high school, i moved out and got a job working with my older non-jw brother.

As far as I can tell Ricky the Organization that calls itself Jehovah's Witnesses exploits the natural desire of people to feel loved and accepted. They crap on about God not being partial, but they are happy to judge and condemn on matters which are none of their business.They say God is love, but they are the masters of cruel unloving behavior. They say God forgives but they certainly reserve the right to hold your mistakes against you forever.

They are hypocrites and liars and you are better off without them.
