Yes, regular worldly people lose their jobs and can't afford their rent and worse everyday. That's life.
I'm sure this demotion will be a rude awakening for these SPs, but, again, that's life.
just got a phone call from an older sister saying that a couple that got re-assigned from bethel 4 years ago to live at their kh apartment as special pioneers, just received a letter saying "as of january 2016, your special pioneer assignment will be discontinued".. they live in a south miami kh(snapper creek congregation).. this couple had only served in bethel for 15 years before they were sent out into the special pioneer work.
they are now in their mid 50's and the sister said that they have to find part time jobs to support themselves.. the older sister (does not have a pc or internet), says that the couple are just devastated!
.

now that district overseers have been deleted, now that bethelites are being devalued and increasingly dismissed, now that special pioneers are being deleted in u.s., and maybe elsewhere gradually.
who would have ever thought?.
yet, now what is the value to be a regular pioneer to the org?
Regular pioneers are so hot right now.
para 6 *older experienced brothers(i assume d.o/c.o./elders) may be (will be) asked to step aside.i recall in the past the wt said we don't retire at 65 or 70 like christendom.to day it sounds like they do retire only difference clergy of christendon receive benefits and a pension.
Older ones with a living memory of the WT's history would be a liability, I imagine.
Better to put them out to pasture, rather than have them reminiscing about the old days to the younger elders.
Even though the GB themselves are all up there in age, except for NKOTB Anderson.
we had co visit recently & it appears that the co told the elders of the congregation that the scriptures indicated on the wt to be "read" on the watchtower study are only to be read by 1 brother in the entire study.... the elder conducting the watchtower announced that at the wt mtg... i was like what???
only men?....
has anyone else had this occur in their congregation?
In our hall they would ask anyone, and I mean anyone to read long passages, kids, adults who were slower readers than a fifth grader it was tough to sit through, and bogged everything down. The area I live in is predoninantly farming and the locals leave school young. So, it was like a painfully long kindergarten play every sunday.
thought she was gonna take a pic of me on the sneak.
im df'd...been df'd for over 19 years already.
so she probably would have gotten away with it without anyone knowing.....except that her flash was on.
information just passed to me.
let's hope this becomes even more widespread.
i wonder if the britain branch suspects a conspiracy?
The COBE is the elder most likely to end up with several knives in his back, placed there by the other elders with the help of the CO. It's all very political.
lets just say everything the governing body says which must be obeyed with out question all hinges on threats of destruction from this wrathful deity if questioned or challenged, loyalty is a must or else it's curtains under the terror of destruction.
Hmmm, let's see the wrath of god coming down and melting my face off a la Indiana Jones style or staying loyal to WT..hmm that's a tough one I 'm thinking , I'm thinking.
Oh well who needs a face anyway
i don't go to many meetings now.
i still feel the need to go every now and again for my husband's sake.
i usually go on a sunday, maybe once a month or so and i look at the wt article under discussion to see if i can stomach it before i go, a lot of the time i feel i just can't do it.
I hear you tornapart, whatever gets you through the meeting.
Maybe drawing horns and moustaches on the artworks along with funny thought bubbles would be more therapeutic. It worked for me.

Personally, I think there is more chance of the easter bunny existing than a soft, gentle voice hidden in the WT writing department.
lots of great potential to help those sp that are being sent off without any financial help from the wtbts.
i think that it would be a great way to get some exposure on this topic and how the wtbts thats those that dedicated their lives to the wtbts only to be sent packing at a late age.
then someone can take the funds to one sp couple, possibly, and give it to them in honor of the apostates that know what is really happening.
It's going to be so hard for these ones to recover when their "specialness" is taken away.
(Cue sad music) Please send them money so they can feel "special" again.
