  Ridiculous statements in this weeks study article

  maybe it is just me but when i read this paragraph all i could do is shake my head and wonder how i used to buy into this crap and how people don't wonder what the hell the writers are thinking'.

  "imagine what life would be like if god did not have love for mankind.

  we merely have to look at the awful history of this world with its human rulerships under its unloving and wrathful god, satan the devil.

  These people should change their name to Ridiculous Statements-R-US. In fact I am fully prepared for 2016 to be the year of increasingly ridiculous statements from WT.

  i occasionally come on this website because i have my eyes on a particular user.

  because of that, i end up reading a lot of people's post.

  although very interesting and hurt breaking, a lot of them are very strange.

  I think in order to live like a JW once you have woken up requires an awful lot of venting to be able to maintain your grip on your sanity and reality. Most probably love their wives very much but cannot find it within themselves to break her heart by being honest.

  Personally, as a woman, I prefer honesty in matters of personal belief.

  Child tells parent. Parent tells elders. Elders interegate child. Elders do nothing.

  Or

  Adult survivor tells elders. Elders interrogate adult survivor. Elders advise adult survivor to get over it. Elders do nothing.

  sorry if this has been discussed before.... for a few days now, this question has been going through my mind.

  what was the date the governing body took the sole role of the faithful and discreet slave and how close was it to the end of the mayan calendar in december of 2012?

  i looked it up on jwfactes.com and sure enough, checkout the date on this article:.

  maria, who is one of jehovah’s witnesses, was publicly insulted by a prejudiced woman, who caused quite a commotion.

  but instead of retaliating, maria calmly continued on her way.

  This "experience" is code. What they really mean is - when confronted by "angry people" while engaging in the public ministry (ie cart work )- keep your cool and don't say anthing. If you keep your mouth shut you could receive a blessing from Jehovah.

  it embarrassed me.

  when i was young my folks made me wear one and i opened it up and took the paper out making it look like it fell out.

  after my folks ask what happen i said i dont know.

  Pff, faithful slave my ass. They're delusional fools, drunk with power and control.

  The real slaves are those they rule over.

  I forget who said it (Orwell?) " To enslave people is easy, all you have to do is get them to love their enslavement"

  that 's the general gist of the quote and it applies well to JWs.

  Hi greybeard. Let's just say for arguments sake they did indeed choose that year to reveal that new light, what is the significance do you think?

  Just wondering why that date with all it's end of time implications would matter to them, is all.
