Very damning documentary it's great to know these stories are coming to light.
Thanks so much for posting it and all your hard work.
here's a link to the english version of the quebec documentary, the kingdom's dirty secrets that aired in canada at the beginning of december.
i was told that it's okay to share the documentary and post on social media.

i am a man and i have roughly 10 months to prepare for my wedding (including raising the funds etc... my fiance is caught up in her affairs associated with the wedding.
now i do have a pretty good sense of fashion when it comes to 'dress to impress' when required.
however, i'm not familiar with specific clothing lines.
Damn, Prince in that white suit is subzero cool.
as a part of the wt judicial arrangement, for many years there was a sort of review procedure called special committee; basically if a person was not happy with a decision or a particular situation they were allowed to write a letter to the society raisin their concerns.. the majority of these complaints were answered with a standard letter with the counsel of “leave matters to jehovah”.
in some instances the matter was serious enough to warrant the need for a special investigation of the case to be done by a special committee.. at one time the travelling overseers were part of this arrangement; eventually they were dropped out of these cases due to the fact of their tremendous input on the decisions and also the implications when a wrong decision was reached.. the reason behind this procedure was that in matters that were really complicated it was not fair to make a decision based in letters and the clearest way was to have “boots on the ground”.
normally a group of local brothers, appointed for this duty heard the cases and make recommendations to the branch.
Thanks for the clarification James Jack.
In true WT style anyone who "appeals" a decision is automatically proven to have a bad attitude.
the bible is a inspired book of god and like and elder told me when i was young , there's no contradictions in the bible and all the prophecies have come true except the two or three that are supposed to come true in the future.
so with that said the messiah jesus christ himself must not be perfect and here's why.
in mark chapter 2 jesus is telling his followers that it's ok to pick wheat on the sabbath and mentions the story about david eating bread that was in the holy place ment only for the priests to use.
Ahimelech was the father of Abiatha also a priest why the confusion in Mark's account?
Maybe Mark misquoted since he was the one telling the story of a story of a story? (As Finkie said)
Maybe sons and father's names were interchangable back in the day?
Maybe father and son priest combo served together?
Maybe the name of the high priest wasn't the point of the allegorical story and not to be nit-picky about the sabbath was the point of the story? Keyword being story.
from this week's wt study:.
all of us, whether of the anointed or of the “other sheep,” hope to see the fulfillment of god’s original purpose and the sanctification of jehovah’s name.
(john 10:16; matt.
Could never figure out why Jehovah's name needed "sanctifying" or cleansed in the first place if it had never been unholy ?
There were some talks or articles about it maybe? The phrase "upholding Jehovah's sovereignty" springs to mind for some reason.
Maybe I am just having an exJW mandela effect moment.
i was so impressed by what the brazilian xjw's are doing to inform the world about jw's unfair and harmful sanctions put upon those who leave the religion that i just had to share their efforts with you.
congratulations are in order for a work well done.
i asked sebastiao ramos ramos, a former jw to explain in english what abravipre is all about.
Cool. Thanks Barbara.
Thanks also to the Brazilian exJWs and all the exjws with "brazilians."
i started a thread on this guy's comments about building kingdom halls here.. the guy also said this (again, not a word for word quote, but the gist of his comments):.
"the primary hope of salvation is the resurrection.
jehovah does not promise anyone that he will survive armageddon.
They're slowly "boiling that frog" preparing people for the next 100yrs......of obedience and donations.
recently attended a special assembly day.. guest speaker was thomas chicky, a member of the us branch committee and the head of the us ldc (which has replaced the rbcs).. the last talk of the day is scheduled for an hour.
it was the usual boring mumbo-jumbo.
he appeared to have blasted through his hour-long outline in just about 45 minutes, so he "treated" us to informal comments on recent developments.. he commented on the new wt complex in fishkill ny.. then he dropped the bomb (well, to anyone with ears and at least 2 functioning synapses).. the following is not a word for quote, but presents the gist of his comments:.
Even if I played a recording of the whole talk to prove the comments were the speakers to the local braindeads they wouldn't believe it.
Though, I can't say I am at all surprised they have needed to cut their losses and get out of the KH business for a while now.
just thinking..... assume we had a family doctor that we had seen all our lives, perhaps he had been the doctor for your extended family too.
he is lovely man, very kind and honest hearted.. but if he had prescribed treatment or medication that was wrong, and had bad effects on you, then changed the medication to something else, then randomly changed it again etc, how would you feel?.
if you did some research into him, and found disturbing facts and things in his history that made you question his qualifications, how would you feel?
What about a car mechanic who gets it wrong?
An airline pilot?
Anything with little or no margin for error demands those doing the job have education, qualifications and practical experience.
Not so with WT or the GB because they are a religion and religions are free to make mistakes with impunity.
The "regulator" of religion at the end of the day is an individuals own internal bull shit meter -healthy human skepticism.
All religions are a public gullibility test.
according to the last paragraph of the article entitled "escape from slavery—then and now" (wt#2, 2017).
jehovah god felt grieved by the harsh treatment of israelite slaves in egypt; he must feel the same way about similar injustice today.. .
if you call modern slavery "injustice", wasn't the slavery during moses time also "injustice"?
Sounds a bit like " JWs abhor child abuse."
......shit WT "abhors" but tolerates if Jehovah allowed it and regulated it.
Slavery
Polygomy
Child abuse
Murder
Man/Child sacrifice (Isaac)
Incest
Rape
War
Pillaging
