Yeah, the whole "Living the best life ever" mantra lol, they have to keep telling themselves that. People that are actually living the best life ever are so busy doing it they don't have time to crow about it.

Jehovah's people are not happy people
by Phoebe ini finally stopped attending the meetings about 4 months go.
i won't be going back - ever.. but i've decided the best reply to the watchtower is to be happy and i do try to be happy every day even thought i wasted my entire life on this religion.
i cherish every day, practice mindfulness and do my best to be content with the life i have.. it is only now that i see that most jws i know are deeply unhappy people.

by victimofdeceit inrecently quit being a jw because i realised that beyond armageddon i was going to be ruled by people who cover up child abuse, not telling the congregations by their letter where the money they donated in the box is going towards paying compensation for legal battles which they caused, and also i was bullied by elders and discriminated against for being homosexual, even though i am not practicing it.
it wasn't until i threatened legal action for a breach of confidence that the elders were deleted.
so through the media and my own personal experience, i realised that they were no different to corrupt businesses in the world.

The good news is it's not you with the problem it's them.
As a group they (JWs) are truly horrible people and you're better off without them. You will have ups and downs emotionally but expect that and don't worry bout it, despite what WT teaches it's normal to have thoughts and feelings - even "negative" ones, oh the horror.
Good for you for seeing through it.

in another video of ex-bethelite (how women are treated) a bethel elder is mentioned who talked to brothers at the table and gave advice abouth marriage and said that it would be the best to marry a women when is as young and pretty as possible, (at 8:45) so you have the possibilty to train her and to mode her in to what you want and get her used in the roles you set for her..... other bethelits made big errors and married older women 24,25.women that would have their own concepts of what bethel or marriage should be.

No chance of this store getting confused with JWs as the name is True Religion. If it were called The Only True Religion on the other hand, well, that could be a bit awkward for JWs as the other "only true religion." But since the only people who recognize JWs as the unofficial "true religion" are the JWs themselves I cannot see a trademark issue. Lol.

the treatment plan for seels-davila called for recycling her own blood back into her system.. yet that proved to be inadequate when complications of her delivery required seels-davila to deliver by cesarean section.

The fact that witnesses do not reaearch stuff to do with their own health even when it involves life or death decisions stands as a testament to the brilliance of WTs anti-blood propoganda and their powers of manipulation.
If I didn't already know they're a money-hungry cult I would assume that it was all some kind of cruel social experiment intended to see just how "obedient" ordinary people will be.

"No junk mail". How witnesses ignore these signs!
by stuckinarut2 inas we know, many people have "no junk mail" signs on their home letterboxes.
this clearly means that they do not want unsolicited mail or advertising material.. so how are witnesses getting around this?.
during the campaign to distribute the convention invitations, when they come across a house with "no junk mail", they are just putting the leaflet inside an envelope and hand writing "to the householder" on the front and putting it in the letterbox!.
