by Lynnie ini'm following an old friend on instagram who's an uber elder and he does lots of work on kh's and has gone to warwick on his own dime to help with the construction.
on his instagram post he says " i can't post pictures of the kh remodel but i can post pics of jack daniels that i had afterwards" or some such.
why aren't they allowed to take pics of remodels?

I'd say this is standard directive now for all official WT stuff and probably applies to personal stuff aswell that shows WT activity. The borg's getting paranoid and probably for good reason apostates and woke people are everywhere and sharing info.This would be one of WT's biggest concerns right now.
Plus, it feeds the org's gigantic ego to keep secrets and create the illusion that they're actually relevant.

2nd Pedo In My Old Congregation Has Been Discovered
by pale.emperor ini learned today that a "brother" from my former congregation has been arrested.. the rumor mill was in overdrive (you know how the jws are), my ex-wife and a pimo member filed me in just an hour ago.
both gave 95% the exact details so i take it as legit.... when i used to do sound desk there was a brother in his late 40s/early 50s who for some reason always had a tan and always sat at the back of the hall.
he was a loner, i used to feel sorry for him so would make small talk while i was setting up the sound desk and he was sitting there.

When did "The Last Days" of JW Organization Begin? Will This Generation See It End?

as jws, many here spent varying proportions of our lives waiting for the end when an unsettling realization was that the end that approaches is more likely to be from old age than the world's end.
through the centuries, group after group, has claimed it has "inside" information on the end of the world, drawing in the desperate-for-comfort like moths to flames.

It's more a question of when did the "last days" of the old WT begin.
I'd say not long after if became obvious the internet had surpassed tv and newspapers in it's ability for hijacking people's attention. Right about then WT would have started making plans for the "last days" of the old WT and first days of the new JWdotborg.
Will this generation (boomers, X, Y, and Z) see the end of the old WT? Most definitely!

Honestly, this whole thing is a storm in a teacup overly sensationalized by people that didn't go. If it was such a big deal the police would have arrested someone or at least spoken sternly but no, nothing, nada. I think the guys at Warwick were hoping for some kind of "storm the castle" scenario but truth is nothing any where near that happened. Just a modest "protest" -(if you can call it that, I 've seen scarier behavior at after xmas sales) by a handful of ex members. So what!
