by Da.Furious ini was just sent a link to a jewish scholar that apparently he has found 1,000 manuscripts with yehovah and latest discovery is one with vowels that supports the spelling yehovah.
so this pits the myth that jews have forgotten the name into rest.. i got excited jws about the finding in support of the nwt showing the name as it should be.. just wanted to share this with you guys.. link to the blog and podcat: https://www.nehemiaswall.com/1000-manuscripts-yehovah#more-13611.

Lack of young people in the congregation?
by IAmJustMe inbeen baptized for two years but being in the truth for longer.
one thing i have always noticed is the lack of young people in the congregation.
does anyone feel the same ?.

Generally speaking I have noticed the demographic make up of congregations tend to reflect the communities they are in. And the communities tend to be a refection of real estate prices, schools, shopping etc. So if the area is one where where young families with kids gravitate there will be young families in the cong. If the area is one where people retire there will be mostly older people. Inner city congregations will have young childless pioneer couples, so forth and so on.
Having said that I do suspect young people and interested people are becoming extinct in congregations everywhere. There's nothing to attract them or keep them. Little ones get to a certian age and drift away.

How Many People Here Still Believe In “God”?
by minimus inbecause of this site i realized that there were many people who were active jehovah’s witnesses really didn’t believe in god at all.
i’m curious how many people believe in god?
i’m not interested in debating why you shouldn’t have a belief in a god or should.

You say you don't want to the debate that inevitably comes with these threads so I'm curious why are you curious?
I thought we'd been down this road before or am I having deja vu.

And now for something you might be able to hear without repulsion
by TerryWalstrom ini won't give a long preamble other than to say this.
listen and see how you respond.
and now i'm passing it along to get your feedback.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28i3lwxw5xs.

Terry, interesting take on Cathy Newman's interview strategy you have there I see what you're saying and agree except for the "brilliant" bit, I thought it made her look ignorant and mean-spirited.
I thought it was appallingly biased and a patently obvious baiting game on her part. Prof Peterson did well to stick to reasonable discussion despite her insistence to get him to play the part of the mysogynistic jerk she so desperately wanted him to play with her repeated "so you're saying" comebacks.
Ugh, it was painful to watch.

"I am who Iam" and "He is who he is" strangely, reminds me of...
"It's goodnight from me."
"And, it's goodnight from him."

by DATA-DOG inso, i think i’m going to be df’d, but elders are out of town and no decision has been officially reached.

Cart Witnessing Is Getting People Baptzed!!!🐑🐑
by minimus inrecently i talked to an elder about this type of witnessing.
i’ve known him for many years and he is a very honest upright man.
he marveled at how many people have become baptized in the last couple of years because of cart witnessing.

They may want to DF out of spite first but if you would prefer to DA then just send it regardless.
