Give me some examples of 'good lawyers'.
by LogCon infor some strange reason when i previously asked to give me examples of how evil attorneys are and then reworded to give me examples of evil lawyers, many misinterpreted that i was labeling all lawyers as evil.
i simply asked a question.
i did not state or imply anything.. now, without labeling all lawyers as good, what examples do you have of 'good lawyers'?.

If you are thinking about "Stepping Down" you better do it QUICK!
by Comatose inthe new arrangement for co's to handle deletions (and appointments) means you no longer will be able to give your friends on the body an excuse and step down.
you will have to answer to the co and most likely have a long uncomfortable chat about everything with him in order to step down.
so if you have been thinking about stepping down, you need to do it quick before the new arrangement..

It will be interesting to see if these changes actually change anything. The CO will still need elder input re the qualifications of individual elders.
Most CO's don't have time to get to know any individual bro's well enough to yay or nay them with any degree of certainty.

Using Disgust

disgust is an interesting emotion and it is linked to all sorts of behavior.

Reiligious disgust for things that are not disgusting is a conditioned response.
The meetings/articles always use words like disgust, wicked, bad, when describing anything they don't want you to do.
Like administering small electric shocks to an animal everytime it does something it would do normally.
In the end the animal will stop the normal behavior even after the shocks have stopped.
To reintroduce what would be considered "normal" behaviors takes time and positive reinforcement I suppose.
But I no expert.

As far as I know the CO leaves everything up BOE to decide and he will just sign off on it.
If CO is conscientious he might ask some questions but mainly it's a congregation matter
they prefer to not get involved with unless absolutely necessary.
Branch has been the same. Let's the shit go down, the forms are sent in, and they just rubber-stamp them. No help there either.

Are we all actually "bad / evil / immoral" after leaving the faith?
by stuckinarut2 inso recently there have been several posts with references to talks and articles that imply the following:.
most of those who learn ttatt or fade from the "truth", are actually practicers of bad things, eg immorality, hence that is why 'we' now find fault with the org?.
i find this so offensive that they imply such.

It was only after learning the TTATT that I sat down and assessed my actual "sins" as opposed to their definition of sin
that I realised that I 'm not such a bad person after all.
They have to deem doubting a sin otherwise there would be people waking up all over the place, then no more WT.
How they classify people amounts to bigotry and hate mongering.

Dreams
by Bella15 inso the other night i had a dream.
in it and i was in someone else's house, first scene i was cleaning the floor and found money, coins, in one of the crevices, second scene husband looks at me i look at him, hmmmm some chemistry, third scene i am in bed sleeping when i feel someone entering the bed, i know it is a man and when i opened my eyes i could see he has 3 green eyes.
he had a third eye on his forehead but at the same level of the other two.
