  Can we be deleted as an appointed man, or disfellowshipped without meeting in a committee?

  so, i am genuinely wondering if the above is possible nowdays?.

  with the changes in the power structure of co's, the changes in gb directives re never questioning "jehovah's appointed channel etc", i wonder if "disciplne can be given out in absence?.

  i know that several elders in our cong have little "discussions" about my apparant slackening off, and would love to take action against me... they have tried to chat with me but that has been shot down.. so i wonder if they could just make a decision without me being present for it?

  @jwdaughter - yeah, there were a couple of old dears that got attacked by dogs out witnessing in my hall, their experience was used at assembly because instead of going to hospital they kept witnessing until they got their usual two hours in.

  HOW EXACTLY does god communicate with or direct the GB?

  we're all familiar with the organisations claims (and have seen the flow diagrams in books and mags) that the gb is "directed by god".

  in turn, the local elders are "directed by god".

  so, how exactly do they suppose this happens?

  I was always thought there was a distinction between spirit "inspired"  spirit "directed," the latter being applicable only if someone is working in harmony with standards for christians as set out in the bible/publications.......blah blah blah.

  oh who am I kidding -basically the GB are bull shit artists or delusional or a bit of both, and it will come back and bite them on the ass one day.

  Oh god, If I had a dollar for everytime I heard the old "they are soo nice" in reference to some supposedly interested person. A friend of mine used to declare "how spiritual" these men were that spoke (flirted) with her at the door for ages.
