We will be seeing the GB's ugly mugs more and more often, showing themselves to be the scene stealing divas I always suspected they were. The up-side of that is the more exposure they get the more WTF moments will ensue.

JW TV Streaming
by Wild_Thing ini was telling my sister (who is also no longer a jw) how they have a jw broadcast channel now and stream their propaganda all the time.
so i decided to check it out again, and right now anthony morris is on there bashing higher education.
my mother has recently told me that the jws have lightened up about that issue and it is okay to pursue higher ed now.

there's no guilt induced donations to be had in ok-ness.. if we were taught that consenting adult sex is normal, enjoying your life, celebrating your milestones and achievements are all normal.
making mistakes and occasionally swearing like a sailor - yep all normal.

Making mistakes and occasionally swearing like a sailor - yep all normal. Relationship break-ups, divorces, businesses failing, losing your job, - normal, normal and more normal. Feeling, at times, sad, angry, jealous, lonely, again all normal. Accidents, natural disasters -yeah that's right shit happens.
Would we have had any need for WT approved attonement? I think not!
What would happen to institutions like the WT who feed off the concept of sin?
Maybe that's how to wake up ones that are still drinking the koolaid, to gently remind them that they are normal.

after much deliberation, we decided she could count her field service minutes only if people see my pretty logo (jw.org), finally she took me off the roof-rack and returned me to my right place, passenger side.
in the passenger's seat of our car, i smile at the homeless people walking the streets, "can we pull over and talk to them, can you buy them something to eat?

with the changes in the power structure of co's, the changes in gb directives re never questioning "jehovah's appointed channel etc", i wonder if "disciplne can be given out in absence?.
i know that several elders in our cong have little "discussions" about my apparant slackening off, and would love to take action against me... they have tried to chat with me but that has been shot down.. so i wonder if they could just make a decision without me being present for it?
