They are horrible people. I don't why people say they're soooo nice.
Yeah, if you find fake, back-stabbing, gossip mongers to be "nice."
what is it about making friends in the organisation am i the only one who had found it tough?
don't get me wrong there was some good people but unfortunately there was also a lot of egotism, back stabbing, jealousy and gossiping.
i could never really fit in any group, everytime i thought i had found a group it was as if i would be sidelined or ditched.

Yup, so many great songs especially the ones that were off-limits as a JW.
For eg I love dancing to the song When A Fire Starts to Burn by Disclosure but I would never have admitted to that as dub. Devil music!!!!

Depends what mood I'm in and what period of my life I'm reflecting upon.
Some days when I think back on my WT rebellion songs like Firestarter by Prodigy are appropriate.
Other days if I'm feeling vulnerable and introspective I will grab a glass of wine and sing along at the top of my lungs to a few oldies but a goodies like I Want To Know What love Is by Foreigner .
There is no one song for me I love and can relate to so many.

Not possible to be friends with a JW - not in the true sense of the word.
It wasn't until I accepted the truth of that statement did it stop bothering me.
right smack into (what looks like) the front entry!.

this was in australia, but the khs i've seen (in the us) are designed so that you'd have to almost intentionally want to ram a building to cause this kind of damage.
On a side note, I always found it interesting that to be a useful dub "carrying his own load" you really needed to drive and own a reliable car to be able to get yourself out in FS and to the meetings. The ones that didn't were treated like a pain in the arse.
Such a Christian attitude.
it was announced recently, that "bro.
z is no long the coordinator(76 years old), bro y(60) is now the new coordinator of the body of elders".. you see, bro.
z has been an elder for 43 years and 35 of them as the cobe/po.
Thie borg has been moving toward the worship of youth and beauty since the magazine photography became more sophisticated. Of course that's understandable if you are trying to attract and retain the young, but there is a callous rejection of anyone that is deemed no longer useful that is harsher than so-called "worldly" standards.
No way is there a "place for all" in God's organization and the criteria for being considered useful is getting narrower and narrower.

Oh boy, I think I went on RVs with an old Sister "Magoo" who drove just like that. There must be one at every hall.
