Yeah, me and another sister got the old naked guy answering the door to shock and embarrass the JW women routine.

I just looked him up and down, gave a little laugh and carried on with my entire presentation.

You do not "have" to do anything. Just say NO! What are tbey going to do tie you up, throw you in the boot, drive yoj to the KH and forcebyou to sit there.

First off, for reinstatement purposes you would need to meet with the elders who would want to know how you feel now probably several sessions, which, btw, you can also say NO to.

Steve 2 - Strange but true, in the latest broadcast there is a bowtie guy, and I think it's one of the videos from the convention a bowtie guy also. Seems like bowties have Jehovah's approval now.

Do you know anything about Live Kingdom Hall?

i learned recently about this link that allows for a person to listen or watch the meetings at the kh that have contracted the service.

you have the option to watch the meeting live or just listen.

there will be a recording of the audio available until the next meeting.. i don't think that this is an official wt arrangement, it might be a private enterprise like the preaching materials .

Yep, can see this becoming the next big thing in Witnessworld. It will be an excellent way to keep big brother eyes on the meetings. If there are far fewer KHs in the future then streaming meetings makes sense logistically also.

Lol. Although, is calling anything that happens at the KH "live" giving the meetings way too much credit. When I last attended it wasn't clear if there was even a collective pulse amongst them. Can zombies be considered "live"?

DS - FYI I meant that in the future obtaining hardcopies of stuff like bibles etc wil be from the website only, not from a KH literature supply or a JW representative bringing it to your door only by ordering it from the website.

Interesting, the very points Chomsky makes is why I found Zizek's approach to be novel but it did not profoundly influence me. At the end of the day I viewed it as just theoretical posturing also so I could take him or leave him - I listened, I thought about what he was saying then I left him.

so...i watched the new netflix movie, "uncknowledged" by dr steven greer today fierce hearing to dj's discussing it on the radio, minds blown.

it makes a strong case for ufo's and totally screws up jw doctrine about the earth having the only intelligent life in the universe, as it is where the issue of universal sovereignty is played out and decided....the gb will need to do some fast talking.

it will be fascinating to blow some jw minds with this.

lett made a complete public denial of any wrong doing on the part of those directing watchtower policies i think his statement as well as splane's statements of denial to the portugal indoctrinated members certainly shows the evil information he is willing to spill out to keep these matters of serious concern away from their believing public there in portugal.. i feel these videos if they can be used in court cases of child molestation will swing the jury toward megabuck$$$ based on the denial expressed to make these denying ass holes wake up and shrivel up their real estate assets quicker.

I for one don't think WT is anywhere near its "end." I think it's merely changing its format and moving towards a business model more like an online megachurch.

JD - Funny you say government won't shut down WT because accoring to WT's own Bible interpretation the Government will shut down all religion and then come for WT which we all know will be the excuse for armageddon.

As I said in my earlier comment this guy puts an interesting angle on things that I have come to similar conclusions myself back when I first woke up and I was reading a lot of philosophy. I have moved on from there now but it was good to revisit.

On a side note I observed this guy has very distracting gestures and a manic speaking style which makes him difficult to listen to.

My intial thought was "blow" (cocaine) user but after thinking about it I realise he could be displaying signs of tourettes syndrome as that is a neurological condition that can involve involuntary physical and verbal ticks.

If there are any next gen witnesses that stick around they most likely won't even care about actual old school full words and titles their whole language will consist of letters, abbreviatons, substitute words etc. It will bye bye english as we knew it as WT seems to be getting right on board with the language reduction thing.
