  I get the impression from the things she was saying this lady is not an exjw, but I could be wrong.

  She obviously felt strongly enough about the tragic, needless loss of life so much that something needed to be said and all these heartless robots can think of is the "disruption to the meeting." I get the feeling if she just could have been given a few minutes to have her say she would done so and left.

  What about those bro's if they could dive-tackle her to the ground they would do it. Cos the meetings are thaaaat important.

  Find Family Happiness

  the other day my wife and i were in sonoma.

  we were just walking around enjoying the pleasant afternoon in the quaint, old downtown area when i saw two jw women standing by their “witnessing cart.” .

  normally, i just ignore them whenever i see jws standing by a cart, but i gotta admit it: this time it really bugged me because of the title on the cart: find family happiness.

  I feel the same as others have commented already, if we all approached them to call out their deceptive magazine hook lines none of them would want to man the carts anymore.

  Where I live there is cart set up in the mall pretty much as permanent fixture these days mornings and afternoons. Same guy, same little boy who looks about 8-10 yrs old. The guy gets the little boy to walk up to people at the cafe tables and benches etc to hand out tracts and the people are like "aww isn't he cute."

  Shameless. These people have no shame.

  Boyfriend force me to study the bible or no marriage

  my boyfriend, who is a disfellowshipped jehova's witness, asks me to study the bible for 3 months or he won't marry me (i'm a muslim woman).

  he loves me and really wants to marry me but he is doing a passive blackmailing: if i don't study for 3 months, 1 time per week, in my home country, and without him, there will be no marriage... as a muslim, i believe the bible is god's word so i look at the bible from time to time and would be happy to study with him.

  but the fact that he is kind of saying "study the bible or bye bye no marriage" is really hurtful.

  If he's blackmailing you about this now what will he blackmail you about once married.

  He's hoping if he can get you to study for 3 months you will convert - huh, who'da thought it, one high control religious group trying to convert someone from another high control group.

  Anyway, call this a taste of things to come.

  Tell him to he should not even have a girlfriend if wants to be reinstated back into his religion.

  many are blaming trump and the republicans and the nra.. is it because of guns that there are so many massacres or could it be that these killers are mental?.

  do you think guns should be removed from our society so that these atrocities never occur again?

  A pet peeve

  a pet peeve of mine is that there are numerous christian denominations (other faiths with their 'holy' books too), all claim that their interpretation of their 'holy' book is the correct interpretation.

  my conclusion is that either their god is a very poor communicator or simply doesn't exist.. i used to believe all this stuff when i was a jobo and later a church going christian.

  i simply cannot, in all honesty subscribe to it all any more.

  Maybe none of it is supposed to make sense. What will people in two thousand years think of the classic books of today? Will they try to analyze interpret and live by them.

  Thing is someone could be considered "stable" with no history of mental illness at the time of purchase and then become "unstable" at a later time. Mental illness isn't that black and white, as in, you either are or you are not mentally ill and if you are not you never will be and vice versa. Everyone has periods of sadness anxiety and high stress even gun owners but not everyone will snap under those circumstaces when "the silicone chip inside her head gets switched to overload".

  Two tiered access to JWborgcasting content.

  Public content which will remain free.

  Payed subscriptions to the "special" members info.

  I could see the average Jdud happily buying into that.

  Would keep apostates out also if you have to be vetted for good standing to buy a subscription.
