Don't waste time worrying about it or them. If you are indifferent towards their behavior and just go about your business happy and unaffected you might find the animosity just evaporates in time.

How do you deal with people who do not like you?
by usualusername1 inhi guysin the last year i have started to socialise a lot more.
namely comedy and a tennis social club.. for a variety of reasons i find socialising tough.
in my tennis club a couple of women have been extremely rude to me and i have blocked one from my phone and refuse to speak to both.. is my behaviour extreme?paul.

being told what to hate, who to shun, to please the corporation sock puppet jehovah can really cause one to put many of ones natural desires and talents in ones shadow, this can lead to depression because we are living the our life with the uniform cult personality.
maturing in this type of cult indoctrination will usually lead to all types of psychic suffering because we are not living true to our dna but a much more inferior cult made personality.

by Lost in the fog inwe were talking with a friend who is in a different area and they mentioned that their present kingdom hall building used to be a church before the brothers bought it cheaply and renovated it.
"of course," john then said, "it'll be dedicated to jehovah after all the work is done so even if everyone in the community still call it the old church, we'll know it is jehovah’s place of worship.
hadn't consciously thought about it until now, but isn't it hypocrisy to (re)dedicate a church and it becomes ok for the witnesses to use.

Just so stupid or is it their God that is the stupid one. And what do they do when they sell the KH?
Some churches will deconsecrate a church when they sell it but do JWs undedicate a K-hall when it's sold on after a congregation murge? Otherwise Jehovah hasn't left the building or has he? If they have no need to undedicate maybe the dedication wasn't all that necessary to begin with since God does not live in a building? Snake beginning to eat it's own tail at this point.
Religion is soooo ridiculous.

How were you 'outed' ??
by stuckinarut2 inmany of us here have been "outed" as ones who no longer believe that this is "the truth".. many didn't have the chance to do it in our own way, and in our own time, but rather someone "found out about our apostasy" and "reported" it to the spiritual police (elders).
