I will really keep your advise in mind happyout, it sounds extremely applicable. I give respect where respect is earned, my parents most often earn it, so I do respect them. But in case of growing resentment, I will make sure to always repsect them.

You are all so helpful, and by all this, I can see that you are the ReaL caring people, none of you are hypocrites. I was in such desperation that I had no clue what to do to postpone this terrible assigned future for myself, but you guys offered the best ideas that were right and front of me and I just coudlnt see. Yea, those quotes are awesome aren't they, from a lesbian book though, "Alma Matter", so you probably wouldn't want to read it. But then again, if you just want an insight to the struggles a homosexual has, go on ahead. Once again, Thank You so much!

Hammas, thank you for respecting my judgment. Yes, that is true that many people like to criticize me for my age, thinking that I'm too young to know what I want. So they take it upon themselves to tell me. I have a quote from another book I read, I post it as a signature to all my emails because it so describes my life : People assume they know you. They create a future for you, and then are shocked when you have the audacity to create your own future.

Thanks for the advise though, I read a book once describing this one state of mind..it said it was like a mist rising off the lake, it can't go back. Well, I'm already risen off the lake and it's impossible for me to go back now. lol

Well, having some issues and thought that you all might be gracious enough to offer some insight. I am a lesbian, have come out to a few friends. My family suspects because of a recent incident with a girl that was reported to them. I am underage, so I can't leave the house yet Well, my dad is urging (note: his urgings are like basic commands) me to get baptized and I don't know what to do. I have no desire to have anything to do with Jehovah's Witnesses.I can't tell him that yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to delay this catastrophic commitment? Thank you all!
