My neighbor and I are holding a car wash for Red Cross donations this weekend. My yard for parking and theirs for washing cars. So far today we've received a little over $1,000 in donations.

Dating dubs, when is a chapperone needed?
by gringojj inmy wifes mother is a devout single dub.
i understand that it would be innapropriate for a young couple to be alone in a house, or even go out in public together if they are not married or had a chapperone.
so we just found out a certain brother whos wife died a few years ago has been stopping over my mother in laws recently.

Vaginal Birth or Cesarean Section
by Dimples into all the mommy's out there...did you deliver vaginally or by c-section?.
i was fortunate enough to deliver both my children vaginally although i came close to a c-section with my son.
he was in the posterier position.

I'll be home like I have been for the last week. Can't wait until I am fully recuperated from my surgery so I can get out of the house. After awhile it can get so BORING!
To all of you going out and doing something...Have FUN and think of little ol' me cooped up at home.

Would you bend over to pick up a penny on the ground? Or maybe a nickel?
by JH inyesterday evening i was taking a long walk, and then i saw a nickel (5 cents) on the sidewalk, so i didn't even bother to pick it up.
then walking away i was surprised that i didnt even pick it up.
i know that i would never pick up a penny, but a nickel, usually i do pick that up.

$50.00 was a lot of money for a 13 year old.
Heck...$50.00 is a lot of money for any age. Why can't I be that lucky? I remember losing a whole weeks pay once. Boy did that hurt, I can imagine the joy of the person who found that!

I work at an elementary school and they had a raffle for joining PTA for the faculty and staff. I never win anything so it was to my surprise when they called my number, I was in complete shock. I won a gift certificate and a bag filled of goodies. It was cool.
