It's a common cross-cultural thing where young children address friends of the family with the honorary title 'auntie' or 'uncle' - less formal than 'Mrs.' or 'Mr.' (or 'Sister' and 'Brother') but still more respectful than just calling them by their first names.

Anthony Morris III, a member of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, recently gave a sermon against tight pants.
God hates them, and by the way, they're designed by homosexuals.
Morris first warns the women:
"Some of our sisters - what it is are these spanx - these skin tight stuff they wear - when they exercise - they leave their home and they're jogging in this stuff. Look at the verse. Is that appropriate to wear skin tight spanx or whatever they call it? It's not modest and it's certainly not sound of mind. It's really not appropriate. There's really nothing else to say about it. Now you want to be in your home or your room and wear that stuff that's your business. But don't go out like that and say you worship the true God."
And then he warns the men:
"And the other one that needs addressing is for these young fellas, cause the older ones aren't doing much of it thankfully, is the metrosexual look we've addressed that in the past. What's happened now is that it's really caught on more - the tight suit jacket and the tight pants. Better known as tight pants. They are tight all the way down to the ankles. It's not appropriate. It's not sound of mind."
And then (leaving his congregation in stitches) he goes after the gays:
"The homosexuals that are designing these clothes - they'd like you in tight pants."

You got a little mixed up, there, SAHS. COJ was asked by a householder in FS to prove 607 BCE as the year of Jerusalem's destruction. That's what started him off. He wrote a treatise (later became GTR) in the mid/late '70s and sent it to HQ which led to a smear campaign against him and to him eventually being disfellowshipped.
Before that, in the '60s, Ray Franz was asked by the leadership to research Bible chronology for the Aid book. He couldn't find archaeological or historical support for the 607 BCE date so wrote the Aid book articles in a way that tried to undermine the evidence for 587/6 BCE.

In September 1977, Brother Poetzinger was appointed to the Governing Body and was able to come to the Society’s world headquarters in Brooklyn, New York, somewhat over a year later. He served with the Service Committee of the Governing Body and the Service Department Committee.(Two different entities here.)
From the BOE letters I have:
1/2/1995 - A change on where Gilead applications should be sent,
"Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society
Attention: Service Committee of the Governing Body [address]"Letter signed "[WTS] of Pennsylvania for the Service Committee"
Directives to the Congregation Service Committees are often signed WTS of NY or CCoJWs.
The 10/1/2012 BOE on Child Abuse is from the CCoJWs and yet it directs that the Service Department is to be consulted (as well as Legal) in certain circumstances.
Certainly the lines between corporations appear to be blurred. The no-brainer is that the GB has ecclesiastical authority over the practices and directives these other corporations pass on to the bodies further down the hierarchy.

As I said on the other thread:
For Lösch's declaration statement to be true he would have had to have bypassed working in the Service Department and assigned to starting work as a Service Committee helper straight from another Department and, as GB member from 1994, he would never have served on the supervisory Service Committee until after February 2014.
Is there any documentation to indicate Lösch was serving on the Service Committee at any time between 1994 (when he became a GB member) and February 2014 (when he made his Declaration)? If he did serve on the Service Committee during that time, then he was perjuring himself when he stated, " I have never supervised ... the U.S. Service Department" because the Service Committee supervises the Service Department. It would be nice to have that evidence though, one way or another.
And regarding him not answering to Watchtower (specifically WTSNY), that may have been true since 1994 - Watchtower answers to Lösch and his fellow GB members, but before then? He was as required to kowtow to Watchtower authority as the next JW.

Well...Losch didn't really lie....or maybe...just a little bit.
He said that he didn't work for the US Service Department. It is a side-step. He is probably claiming that he was still in Austria when he was connected to the service department - not in the US. It is a weasel tactic.
