...hello all, i'm what you'd call a shunned father seeking jws brave enough to talk to me or exjws who might have known my would-be family in the sacramento valley/northern california area... my names andy and i am seeking my twelve tear old daughter *edited by john barleycorn*, born in sacramento 1991... the mother's name is *edited*, she shunned me, then disappeared and married a jw man taking on a new last name which i still cannot find out... she might have had more children with her new hubby since, but i have not been able to find out... .

for me, it was an elder telling me i was progressing really well when my meeting attendance was down and my field service hours were slipping.

about seven weeks ago i posted here for the first time.
in that post i said i'd like to be reinstated but felt it likely wouldn't happen because the shunning was too much for me.
well, my prayers have been answered and i am reinstated.

I heard a story about an anti JW woman who had trained her attack dog to kill when she said "Jehovah." She ordered her dog to attack a pioneer who had come to her house. When she said the attack command, "Jehovah," the dog turned on its owner and bit her in the throat, causing her much sorrow.
Moral of Story: Dogs don't like it when you use god's name in vain.
I heard a few version of this story, one where the dog's name was Jehovah. Pretty cool name for a dog. Has anyone else heard this? I checked the JW Urban legends list and couldn't find it. =suz

That scripture about "...the dog returning to its own vomit" comes to mind (no offense).
Its ok to go back for closure. You need to feel that you're "done with them" before you can leave them behind. SOmetimes i wanna go to the KH, but I don't think I could keep a straight face. suz
"Watch How We Walk" was a catchy one. It had a 'Hi Ho" quality like the 7 dwarves song.
I liked the short ones best tho. suz
Hey KGB, I wanna corrupt those mormon and JW boys every time i see them on the street. They really need to loosen up. I want to take them home, feed them cookies and beer, and encourage them to play with their dingalings. It seems the Christian thing to do. -s
