Thank you, it is nice to acknowledge it without guilt. Plus, i get to live vicariously through him, and seeing it through a child's eye's is just amazing.

Thank you bro, i think he is cute too.. but i am partial, my vote dont count! LOL
Arrowstar-
I am so not ready for the eye rolling. I get enough as it is with the "geez mom". The kid is a little smarty pants, i am big trouble when he get's bigger.

greendawn-
my mom tried to tell me yesterday that she will acknowledge the day her grandson was born, and call to tell him that she is very happy
about the day he was born as it is very special to her, however.. she will not participate in the pagan celebration we will be having for him
tonight. I just had to laugh at her, it is too ridiculous to even waste my time with.
daystar-
they grow so fast, i just cannot believe that he is 4.

Something very funny happend today too. I went to the bakery to get cupcakes for his class
party this morning, and the head baker there was an elder that i have known my whole life.
He does not usually work at this bakery, he was training another baker for a couple of weeks.
This elder was talking to me like old time's, probably completly forgetting that i am df'd still.
I mentioned that it was my son's birthday today, and that is why we were getting cupcakes, for
some reason it did not even phase him, either that or he has selective hearing.
I am sure that i will hear something from my parents later today.
Happy Birthday Joshua!!!!
i have the full complement of body parts and organs including my tonsils, appendix, foreskin and 32 teeth.. is anybody else as complete as me?
any funny stories on missing body parts?
exploding appendix, foreskin stuck in a zipper etc.....
LOL.. that foreskin question cracked me up!
My gall bladder burst and almost killed me. I was rushed into surgery
and they cut an 8 inch incision across my belly, and removed what
was left of my gall bladder.
Let me tell you.. the pain was worse then child birth!
hi all on this thread.
i am very new here quite excited to finally make the move and register.
i have a very long story but i would like to leave that for another time perhaps.
Welcome to the board!
Looking forward to hearing your story!

i have relatives in the jehovah's witness religion still, and in-laws.
because my spouse and me were never officially disfellowshipped, they have a hard time with how to shun us.
basically, they don't.
Good for you!! I wish i was as strong as you were.
I got the "shun speach" too many times to count. Yes, i did allow them to see my son and i didnt involved, because honestly i thought that my son needed a relationship with his grandparents. But after some current events, i am cutting those ties completly. It is just better that way. I will always have hope that my family will one day be like your's and put the differences aside for the sake of their grandson!

hi....so here's my story....i was working at a local salon, and met an older guy ( i was 18) who seemed quite fun, and we soon became friends.
he was 45 and recently divorced, and he knew i needed extra money for college so i began to clean his house.
it quickly escalated into a much deeper relationship.
Welcome!
I think before you jump back into studying, you should do some research about this religion before getting involved.
Not just a one sided view, but from all sides, that way you don't get taken advantage of even more.
Take care, i hope all goes well with you!

Was Yoli the one with narcolepsy? If not, who was that girl you knew who was narcoleptic?
OMG Aim, you are so freakin crazy! I totally forgot about that girl. No, it was not yoli that was narcoleptic. I know you remember yoli, she has only been my best friend for the past 20 some odd years!
Remember when i was telling you about the narcoleptic girl that i knew, and you tried to convince me that you had it too because you kept falling asleep during the meeting. I kept trying to explain to you the difference between boredem and narcolepsy, but you already self diagnosed yourself by that point! LMAO!!!!
Ok, the narcoleptic girl had been baptized at 9, df'd at 13, and married by 15. (her worldly dad signed for her). As far as i know has a couple of kids. Dont know if she ever got reinstated or not.
You are too funny!
