Theists, why does God allow suffering..
by The Quiet One in..specifically, the suffering of animals.
you can talk about free will/sin/people choosing to not listen to god etc to explain human suffering being allowed.. but how can you love a god that allows animals, that haven't sinned or chosen to not have anything to do with god, to have their short lives ended in often long, drawn out, painful ways.
i could list stories i've read that would probably make you feel ill, but i'm not looking to shock anyone or start an emotional debate.

primarily its the younger ones 35 and under vs older ones.
i dont know if its just my friends or everyone but they are obsessed with jw.org.

JW.ORG TRADEMARK DENIED
by NAVYTOWN ini saw on another forum that the trademark application for the 'jw.org' logo had been denied by the trademark office.
it is too similar to the logo of another company.
there is an appeals process that presumably gives the watchtower a chance to get the decision reversed.

by disposable hero of hypocrisy insince the spin we get from the wt and from the platform is very one sided, always banging on about how terrible the world is and how it's never been worse and mankind is going to hades in a handcart, how's about a good news thread?
i don't know about you guys but i try to share the good stuff as much as possible, because i feel it un-demonises 'worldly' people, helps witnesses see its not cut and dry, black and white, us and them.
there are millions of decent hardworking charitable people out there trying to make a difference for the community at large.

It wasn't really an answer at all, because 'Everyone owes God one death.
Life can decide to go into the darkness or the light after the one death.' doesn't even address the question of this topic: Why does God allow animals to suffer, right now and for countless years in the past?

Thanks for your honesty. It does indeed suck, and I can't see how anyone can reconcile the idea of a God that allows animals to suffer, and yet is loving and merciful at the same time. -

James Brown, why do animals 'owe God one death'? Animals have nothing to prove, they have no sin to pay for, they are incapable of it. Your reply doesn't address the topic: Why is God allowing animals to suffer needlessly?...
Please ask the ministers how they explain animal suffering being allowed by a loving God.
