Yeah. I'd also wish so. I took a road trip from north all up to Monte Negro this spring, crossing all the member states but Serbia. A beautiful country and wonderful people. Unfortunately, there are quite some Great/New Russian chauvinist thugs in Serbia, but other than that, very cool folks everywhere.

Voting and elections
by Powermetal4ever ini've been thinking about the fact that jws dont vote in elections.
the main reason for this, i guess is that they shall not be a part of this world and so on.
there was no election in the times of jesus, so yes i understand that it needs an intepretetion, but why is that intepreted that they shouldnt vote?

The Watchtower controls every aspect of a winess' life. If they allowed voting, they should give guidance for which candidate/party to vote for, otherwize the mind control would blow, cause the members would feel freedom and power outside of the organization. Now, any organization who engages in politics is deprived of tax excemption, in the US, EU, AU and probably many other places. The Watchtower will do anything to maintain it's profitable taxfree real-estate flip-flop business, so dealing with voting members is out of the question.
