INVESTIGACIÓN EN MARCHA
La Guardia Civil ha iniciado una investigación tras recibir la denuncia de Noelia y también la de Israel Flórez, otra víctima de Toledo que actualmente tiene 43 años. Ambas querellas describencasos de abusos sexuales a menores y su posterior ocultación por parte de la organización Testigos Cristianos de Jehová, la marca española de una confesión internacional que cuenta con ocho millones y medio de fieles en todo el mundo y más de 100.000 en España. Porque tanto Noelia como Israel no solo han denunciado a sus agresores sino también que sus congregaciones les ordenaron mantener en secreto las agresiones. Estas dos denuncias se unen a la que presentó Miguel García en los Mossos d’Esquadra a finales del mes de septiembre.
La denuncia de Noelia ya ha llegado al juzgado de instrucciónnúmero 33 de Barcelona, que estudia ahora si los delitos cometidos tanto por el presunto pederasta denunciado como por su congregación han prescrito.
LA JUSTICIA INTERNA
Noelia nació en 1986 en una familia que formaba parte de la congregación Nordeste de Barcelona. Tras ser agredida por su vecino, J. O., un miembro destacado de los Testigos de Jehová, ella le contó a su madre, también miembro de la organización religiosa, lo ocurrido. Esta buscó al pederasta, que admitió parcialmente los hechos.
