Australian Royal Commission mentions that G. Jackson was inconsistent

it's great that the following is officially mentioned in the royal commission's report:.

when asked if the governing body members saw themselves as ‘jehovah god’s spokespeople on earth’, mr geoffrey jackson answered that it ‘would seem to be quite presumptuous to say that we are the only spokesperson that god is using’.

mr jackson’s response seems to be inconsistent with the documentary evidence before the royal commission, which shows that jehovah’s witnesses believe that the governing body is the ‘channel’ by which jehovah’s ‘will’ is communicated to them..

there are many on this site that do not believe that jehovah truly exists; that he is not a real being.

but, he is as real as next breath you draw into your nostrils.. some of you say that there is no evidence that he exists.

yet, none of you can prove that he does not exits.. cofty, (you come to mind), i appreciate that you have stated, without reservation, that you do not believe that god exists.. yet, you cannot prove it.. hope in jehovah..

Well the God of the Bible had no problem with mass genocide of women children and babies!

He also has no problem with incest. His " faithful man " lot had no problem with incest and we are told to imitate ones like Lot.

So, if that is "Jehovah", and we are supposedly created in his image, then why do we find such things repulsive??

And when will the society learn that they could earn so much public goodwill by simply saying " we made some serious mistakes. We did not conduct ourselves properly."

Of course we all know, that will never happen. They will never admit to being wrong like this

Yes all of these presentations that have been made over the last 4 to 5 years are doing an amazing job at highlighting the ridiculousness of the society!

I simply wonder what the so called intellectual ones who are still in the organisation honestly think about these things ? I mean seriously in their quiet moments alone do they not look at these things and think "what the hell is this embarrassing stuff??"

For anyone who may not have watched her time before the royal commission, I strongly suggest watching the video footage. (It can be likely be found on YouTube.)

Her presentation and delivery, as well as poor answers to the questions was simply appalling.

It was an embarrassment of monumental proportions for both her and the society!

im printing this off and spending my next sunday morning doing some door to door work posting this article through all the letter boxes of the street my local kh is on.. it's shocking that none of the r&f know about this.

i have a feeling that the 2 witness rule will be revised in 2017 and made to look like it was jehovah's proper time.

) report: i think it is a must read and shows clearly that shunning also needs to be considered when child abuse is discussed and how cruel it is.. here the report:.

jehovah’s witnesses are counselled against associating, fraternising or conversing with a person who has been disfellowshipped or who has chosen to disassociate from the jehovah’s witness organisation.

Yes, this practice of speaking critically and negatively of those who fade or leave, smacks of paranoia and propaganda!

The society (GB) paints the picture that all who leave are wicked, evil, unrepentant sinners. The reality is, that is far from the truth! Most who leave have just learned the disturbing facts of the society! Simple!
