  Australian Jehovah's Witnesses are ignorant of the Australian Royal Commission

  many here have asked how the average witness in australia is taking the news of the arc findings and conclusions.. is it affecting them?.

  sorry to say, hardly any are even aware of the facts.

  those that are, have been convinced that all the publicity is "apostate lies and satanic propaganda".

  several months ago i approached a nice young couple who were standing by a jw literature stand in my local community.

  they were pleasant and polite but incredibly stilted when it came to answering my "innocent" questions about their beliefs.

  this was the occasion of jws featuring the article headlined "is religion dying?".

  Jehovah God Is Not Real

  there are many of us on this site that do not believe that jehovah truly exists.. i think this is a great and wonderful thing to be celebrated!

  i'd like people to list the reasons why they do not believe that jehovah exists.

  this is open to all, not just atheists or agnostics, but anyone that believes that the god as put forward by jw.org does not and can not be real.. i'll start: .

  Sorry to say, HARDLY any are even aware of the facts. Those that are, have been convinced that all the publicity is "apostate lies and satanic propaganda"

  The level of ignorance is simply outstanding!
  Sadly it seems that the society has done an OUTSTANDING job of distracting the "flock" from the realities taking place.

  What is wrong with you all? (sarcasm alert)

  Don't you all know that we were created in "god's Image" ??

  So, it seems that he didn't have issues with destroying little babies and women on multiple occasions.

  He also has no problem being a close "friend" of a man who was going to kill his own son and sacrifice him.

  He also has no issues with men who offer their daughters to be pack-raped.

  Or he has no issue with men who committed incest with their daughters.

  Shall we go on?

  It is odd really, that if we were "created in God's Image" , we humans find such things repulsive....

  Australian Royal Commission mentions that G. Jackson was inconsistent

  it's great that the following is officially mentioned in the royal commission's report:.

  when asked if the governing body members saw themselves as ‘jehovah god’s spokespeople on earth’, mr geoffrey jackson answered that it ‘would seem to be quite presumptuous to say that we are the only spokesperson that god is using’.

  mr jackson’s response seems to be inconsistent with the documentary evidence before the royal commission, which shows that jehovah’s witnesses believe that the governing body is the ‘channel’ by which jehovah’s ‘will’ is communicated to them..

  Steve2: I get that the GB openly state they are not infallible. I do not get that, as infallible men, they expect of you unquestioning loyalty upon pain of being shunned by your entire community.

  there are many on this site that do not believe that jehovah truly exists; that he is not a real being.

  but, he is as real as next breath you draw into your nostrils.. some of you say that there is no evidence that he exists.

  yet, none of you can prove that he does not exits.. cofty, (you come to mind), i appreciate that you have stated, without reservation, that you do not believe that god exists.. yet, you cannot prove it.. hope in jehovah..

  " it would seem to be presumptuous to you mere low scum of the earth worldly people. However because I will take part in destroying each and everyone of you, I can say whatever I like. "

  According to the society, this is a life-saving work. They have often used the illustration of saving people from a burning building.

  This form of witnessing with the carts is more like standing outside that building that is on fire and holding up a small bit of paper that says "danger"....

  Urgency? Think not....

  despite my often smart-ass exterior, i really don't have any desire to see the r&f dubs suffering.

  i really do worry about the mental and emotional turmoil that they will experience, if and when the wtbts is truly exposed as a scam.

  i know it seems unlikely to happen, but you never know..... anyway, the wt for the week was cringe-worthy to say the least.
