June 2017 Watchtower - Jehovah's Sovereignty is at stake if you disagree with us
by Listener infour years ago the watchtower made the following demand.
all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.
they are not content with obedience and in the upcoming june watchtower they have this to say -15. how does respect for theocratic headship reveal our love for jehovah’s way of ruling?15 what is our response to divinely authorized headship?

Great thread.
Yes, the statements offered as "FACTS" by the articles, need to be questioned.
What proof is there that "they are divinely appointed"?

A good laugh though hey? I give credit to those who made it: "Governing body of apostate witnesses"

The perfect answer if you get asked to go to the memorial
by pepperheart ini will go next year :-) .

If some witness asks "will you be at the memorial?", simply reply
"Have I ever missed one?" then change the subject.

Welcome welcome welcome friend!
Thank you for sharing your story. Your honesty and openness will be of help to many other "lurkers".
I relate to your account and circumstances in many ways.
No doubt you have had an in depth look at www.jwfacts.com ? That site has all the key points of a doctrinal nature, all presented with accurate reasoning and scriptural references. Also, it has many personal stories of ones who have woken up. Many were extremely "in" the organization, and "spiritual" witnesses! (One that comes to mind is Stumpy. His account is great!)
Please feel comfortable to share in the discussions here, knowing that it helps not only yourself, but others too. After all, doesn't the bible speak of "an interchange of encouragement"?
PS, you mentioned "tertiary entrance score" Are you from WA by any chance?

God answers JW prayers about trivialities while ignoring the abuse of little children
by jambon1 ini've heard many experiences about how jehovah answers the prayers of jw's - convention items about pioneers gas bills, car repairs, job opportunities.
now, if this is true, you are actually stating that god has directly intervened in your life.
taken action on your behalf.

Yes, the very notion of Jehovah providing, or protecting, or guiding some situations, calls into question where he was, and why he chose to ignore others!!
Was he asleep at those times?
A witness will say "time and unforeseen occurances befall" ... blah blah....but then why would he allow a busload of witness on their way to a conventions to be killed, but then "direct someone to give a bag of groceries" to another??
Applying just a little bit of logical thought makes the whole issue crumble....

Here is your typical Kingdom Hall of Jehovah'w Witnesses attendance!
by RULES & REGULATIONS in.
kingdom hall south dakota live stream.....i found this video on youtube.com.
it reminds me of my old kingdom hall where hardly anyone is sitting in the front rows and doesn't seem like they have a large membership.most kingdom halls sit around 200 people at the most and seem to have a hard time filling the seats.. my old congregation had around 45 members when i left 4 years ago.we always seemed to have a hard time meeting the monthly expenses.some months,i was told that some elders would contribute extra money so the congregation would not be in the negative for the month.. how many members did your congregation have while you were still attending and did meet its expenses for the month?.

Wow! That made it onto youtube?
That congregation has an APOSTATE in its midst!
haha...its laughable really. The stream is supposed to remain confidential, and is only for "approved" ones to access.
