  "You know that the Memorial is April 11 right?"

  ah, yes, so mid-way through a conversation about work, a family member just had to say "oh, you know the memorial is tuesday april 11, so i guess you will have to schedule your work so you can make it right?".

  i simply said "oh is it?

  " and then went back to what we were talking about.. has anyone else had the pressure to attend put on them?.

  Ah, yes, so mid-way through a conversation about work, a family member just had to say "Oh, you know the memorial is Tuesday April 11, so I guess you will have to schedule your work so you can make it right?"

  I simply said "Oh is it?" and then went back to what we were talking about.

  Has anyone else had the pressure to attend put on them?

  I cant wait to be actually asked "DID you attend?"

  I will simply reply: "Well, as one who values truth and honesty, I chose not attend such an event"

  it has come to our attention that many you, especially in the developed world, have chosen to outfit your homes with artificial lighting.

  while there is nothing wrong with husbands wishing to see more clearly while studying - or for sisters to want to add some extra lighting when cleaning the home - we need to be careful how we choose to use this technology.

  I had family featured in a recent yearbook.

  Yep, and that segment about Jehovah blessing the efforts to get hold of chairs for the assembly??!!

  Really? That was "newsworthy"? If that is the sort of thing that "proves" his direction and blessings, then where was he when child abuse mishandling took place??

  Which is worse according to the GB: Child Abuse or Apostasy??

  so we all know how the organization conducts itself regarding child abuse.

  the multitude of legal cases worldwide including the current australian royal commission as well as anecdotal accounts prove their attitude.. perpetrators have not been reported to authorities, and data bases of such have been kept sealed even when demanded by the courts!.

  however, when it comes to those of us who have simply left the organization due to learning the truth, the society spares no effort in spreading gossip and ensuring that one's name and reputation is ruined.. so gb, which crime is worse?

  Birth Control to be banned?

  ok, so the title is just an idea the society / gb could adopt.. clearly there is very little growth from outsiders coming into the organization.

  the only real growth is coming from children being born into the faith.. the broadcasts, and the stuff on the official website for children gives proof of the manipulative techniques the gb is using by way of propaganda on these born in young ones.. so, it is not a huge leap to suggest that if the society wants to maintain growth, then they have to encourage witness couples to keep popping out offspring!.

  no birth control perhaps?
