next, comes a clip of a male putting his hand on the shoulder of a female worker, the look she gives him would be enough to give him nightmares for the next year.
Instead of the 'sister' at work being "touched inappropriately", why didn't the video show some member of the congregation wrongly touching a young person ? I mean that HAS occurred WITHIN the organization, - so it would be a more realistic storyline!
Try writing a convention talk to actually deal with that elephant in the room!

a year ago the government found that jws from manchester were involved in a child abuse, but the local congregation did everything to hide it and be in the way of the police investigation.
this situation is getting worse now.

(Yet it is of no surprise, as the bible contains many accounts where God was ok with abuses against women and children! In fact he even instigated many of the acts! So if "humans are made in his image", then its no wonder this stuff occurs...)
Yet, how comforting it is to know that it is all coming out in the open finally!

so we have all heard the worldwide reports about khalls being sold off and congregations being amalgamated etc.... of course, jws are being told that these actions are a sign of "just how much the work is progressing, and how jehovah is blessing the increase and expansion!".

in perth western australia the watchtower have sold a kingom hall to hindus for $2 million aust dollars and they have a second one up for sale in the same area embleton .
Ah yup! So the Society made off with millions!
I personally worked on that Embleton Kingdom Hall, and know of the years of sacrifice average witnesses put in to saving up huge $ to build it... Of course none of them got their money back on it!

Cofty! Perfectly said. As soon as a leader(s) speaks as "God's Mouthpiece", and people believe their claims, they can get away with murder .... literally as is sadly seen by many religious fanatics around the world! Even JWs look forward to mass murder when the big A happens!

yes, it was confronting, shocking and life altering.
yes it was hard to deal with.. but, along with that, many have said that they experienced a sense of thrill, euphoria, or joy when realising the facts about the religion that held us captive mentally and physically for so long.. it was liberating to learn some of the controversial teachings etc.

For me the "high" was researching facts and finding this place, and knowing I WAS NOT THE CRAZY ONE who saw the organisation for what it was!
Once I learned that I was not alone in knowing that it simply wasn't "the truth", the euphoria I felt was so liberating.

On the official website, they say proudly that this video was "released and made available freely to all tv networks for them to air at their discretion"
Ha! They say it as if THEY are doing the networks a favour by allowing them the privilege of this piece of propaganda!
it seems that instagram is the new thing.

The Jws LOVE stalking other witnesses and the people they follow. NOTHING Is private amongst witnesses. "Do you know who so-and-so is following?? Hmmm, they are not good associates...they seem like people who don't respect the organisation"

Phizzy: I do miss the excitement of the quest to find out all I could about the JW Cult, and related matters, that quest is complete,but I think it is good for us to remember exactly how we felt,so that we can empathise with, and help, Newbies to find their feet.

i'm watching the new netflix movie "come sunday".
it's one more film about a person who has turning point in life that demands the person to reevaluate his own faith and belief system.
in this case, the man is a petencostal bishop that gets very famous and has a big church preaching about salvation to heaven and punishment in hell.
