IF I was allowed to actually pursue higher education, I could have become a doctor. I would have done this NOT for the money, but to actually HELP people!
For the GB to stigmatize the genuine motives of those who want to expand their education, and for them to attempt to reframe it as a "selfish" pursuit, is one of the most damaging, and manipulative cult tactics ! HOW DARE THEY!

so i'm cleaning out my jw mom's house since she's gone to assisted living.
she had tons of bound volumes of the wt and awake from the 80's and 90's and the cousins decided to recycle all of them since "everything is online now.
they even recycled old nwt bibles!!
It must be a trying time sorting through a lifetime of stuff? (including cult stuff)

well, i just wanted to share with you that i've been called to work in a high school and my first week of work has been amazing!
this job is not permanent, it will end in july, but finally i got rid of many doubts about my adequacy for this job: i love it!
