  Where does the Governing Body say "old light" comes from?

  the governing body claims they've received "new light" from jehovah every time they change their doctrine.

  so where did the "old light" come from that's being replaced?

  if the old light is incorrect, could it have come from god?

  Who Ever Votes No In The Kingdom Hall?

  how many of you have ever observed no votes in kingdom halls?

  especially for spending on stuff?.

  i've actually seen a few close votes but i is my experience unusual?

  With the current new arrangements re 'donating', and signing over the title deeds of the khall to the society, they asked us for a "a show of hands in the affirmative"...then they said, "well thats obviously unanimous...we will indicate this is passed...now the next part of the meeting is..."

  it was quickly moved on from, and no time was allowed for questions or clarification.

  hey all,.

  i had two elders just "drop in" yesterday...walked around the back of my house and all....rude....i happened to be home, and opened the door.... one is doing spring cleaning at his house, and so in general chit chat, they spoke of how we all dont need to keep the bound volumes or older mags anymore, as everything we need is on the website or cd rom.... i just casually said, "yes, but its nice to have the originals so we can see the original wording and info".

  one of them snapped his neck spinning so quick, frothed at the mouth and said "what do you mean changes?...nothing changes!!".

  yes, that is the one indeed...I dont know how anyone in the org can justify this blatent attempt to rewrite history??!!!

  I fobbed it off by saying "oh you know, the bound volumes show country specific stuff like convention dates and locations etc...each country's are different. And its nice to have the original that we marked in the study etc"

  I think I am in their radar???
