  Ray Franz update

  he became 82 on may 8, the wt propagated news long ago about his death has been "exaggerated".

  he always gets back to me even if takes some time to write.. recently he received shipping of 3000 copies of crisis of conscience (4th edition), 158 cartons.. but he is getting help now from (edited), a russian young man, including managing his website www.commentarypress.com.. he is starting to get feeback from latin america such as mexico, chile, argentina and others.

  internet is getting around i guess.. pending on his family health issues, he wants to go back and revisit puerto rico and dominican republic where he started his "career", becoming branch overseer, and is well known...

  I loved his books.

  I sent him an email before his recent surgery........I hope he is doing well with his recovery.

  I really was on the same page with him even before I read his books....

  It was amazing what he wrote about were many of my feelings about the truth(tm)......he just added the experiences of Bethel and what really went on that really confirmed and made me feel good about my stand with righteousness.

  I sure hope he is feeling well... Please pass this on to him and his wife if you are in contant with him.

  i need advice.

  my daughter is getting married next month, she has no idea of the extent of my husbands and my fading as she lives in another area.. the thing is she really loves this guy and will marry him come what may, but my husband thinks she should know about us before she gets married.

  im worried her bf might say we cant go to the wedding or stop her seeing us after.. ive got a idea hes a bit of a hard liner, controlling!

  I have to agree with Scully and Blondie

  Don't do anything BEFORE the wedding. Let them enjoy their wedding day.

  In the last 1.5 years I have been fading. I live far away from my kids. I only get to see them once a year.

  So I know somewhat how you feel about "wanting to tell"....You no doubt were an excellent JW Mom, like I was. We can not undue the JW training without careful planning. Babysteps are needed.

  Have you read Steve Hassan's books about "Mind Control"? The 2nd book, "Releasing the Bonds", gives stratagies for discussions with loved ones in a cult. Both are a very good "read".

  Everybody has to handle this in a way that fits according to their family situation.

  The 2 authors have never been JW's...but you would swear they were by all the things they have written.

  I was raised in it....

  After seeing the "Dateline" show 2 years ago on child pedophiles within the WTBS.......and only the last 10 minutes...was enough to tell me "something is wrong with the WTBS"...they are no different than the Catholics, whom they loved to disapprove of all the time. HYPOCRISY!!!

  Lack of love knocked on my door afterwards..........

  and I noticed the WTBS didn't produce the fruits that THEY identified as a true religion: LOVE

  Wild Turkey or Jim Beam?

  i think i'm partial to wild turkey but i do like jim beam (black label).

  i used to like jack daniels but they've lowered the proof so i refuse to buy it now.

  one of my friends is convinced they both taste like piss...i don't quite understand that...i mean they both do what they're supposed and they don't taste bad to me....any preferences out there?

  After 4 years, I finally had JWs at my door today!

  yesterday i saw two women walking slowly around the end of our street, waiting on porches of empty homes.

  i told my husband, "look, there are 2 jws.

  we haven't had them come here for 4 years--ever since i mentioned that i had some serious questions (but had never enumerated any points at all).

  I am surprised it took them 4 years to find you at home....

  I wish they would never call back on us...it has been about 6 months...I guess when the CO shows up they will be a calling with the brother that works with NOdenial (he is on a spiritual high cause he would have been df'd for living with his "worldly" gf for 2 years...but he confessed and started a study with an elder).......

  But they never want to HEAR from me...I am the wife, the one without a BRAIN........lol (I attended more meetings and went in the f. service when we relocated here (NOdenial never went in f.service. During that f. service I had to show sister elder/pioneer where a scripture was to answer her return visit's question. After we left the r v.'s house, sister/elder/reg. pioneer asked me: Is this enought f. service time for you? I quickly said "yes" and never went out in the f service again. )...but do they want to talk to me.........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

  Actually...I don't want them in out house...NOdenial let's them in to intrigue them with his newfound knowledge ...lol.....He wants me as his witness that he doesn't say anything wrong...

  I told him: you are wasting your time and it just screws me up to see these men in my house and treat me like I don't have a BRAIN. They don't care anything about me....They only want our "time cards" from our old KH.

  Hey, I have been to the "Maker's Mark" distillery....awesome tour, but no free sampling......

  I prefer whiskey to bourbon...and Canadian whiskey's....Crown Royal is my favorite.

  But as far as Bourbon goes....if I am your guest I will drink almost any bourbon with much graciousness.

  Geez, thanks a lot for starting this thread....It is only 1:45 pm and I am wanting a cocktail.....

  What's a girl to do???????

  I try not to be "psycho"....but remember we are living in a "psycho world"...I would have to guess even the most "normal" (wide ranges of what is considered normal now) person can exhibit signs of being "psycho".
