if we are so concerned about the wt and know the role organizations play in our sociaty,
then with moral responsability we should be able to provide a complete real answer instead of just complaint about the wt, if we can't then...
lets assume you are a gb member and your proposal (complete real answer) has the chance of being approved.
The answer is that NOBODY should let it play a role in society.
When the WTBS sees that it has no power on anybody...............it will die.
It is gradually loosing its power....that's why they tell their members to NOT look at the internet or other books or college.
since i stopped being a jw i haven't prayed.
so the other day i went to supper at my parent's house who are still jw's, and they prayed before we ate.
it was a very strange feeling, and it stirred up alot of weird feelings.

Yes, that's right, me the wife and the kids were: "them".... It irritated me so much that we didn't have a name. Only my first husband had a name...Go figure?

i am so terrified!.
#2 daughter came home from college on 12/18 with a violent headache, nausea, neck pain and great fatigue.
we took her to the dr. on the 20 and again on the 21st as she had kept nothing down for 3 days.

Wow...I am a little shocked that there are few responses to this very kind, and insightful thread.
Savage and his pretty wife Doodle-V....have been great hosts to many of us.....many times.

basically i have been reading the bible lately & doing extensive research on the web and have come across many things in my search...any imput put on various scriptures or sites i would appreciate.... .
first of all i found more than a few religions that resemble the teaching of the jw's...so can they honestly say they are the only ones with the "truth"?

I liked what you said in this paragraph, as I have thought about this as well. I was raised as a JW and lived it for many years, but the lack of love issues and finding out they have been concealing pedophiles while denouncing the Catholic Church for the same thing seemed hypocritical to me.
earlier today after i posted i had to run some errands and while i was out i started thinking of what it means to "worship God in spirit & truth"...from what i was taught it meant that could be only one true religion ( & i could be wrong there could be just one ) but when i pondered today i thought what if it meant just that?... worship in TRUTH and SPIRIT...truth meaning being honest with God in your own personal life & your worship to Him... as the scriptures say "each of us will render an account for himself to God" Romans 14:10 - 12 & not to be judging one and other....who can judge what God sees as acceptable worship from an individual?...and in SPIRIT...why would a loving God destroy those who sincerely give of themselves & are walking in all honesty with Him keeping His commandments?
