  yes he is............he and his friend blueeyes are in a karaoke bar singing 'margaritaville" and having shots of petron............that's tequila for all you novices.

  Two more exams and another cert ... MCDBA

  i got my mcsd.net at the end of last year (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/63489/1.ashx) and as someone suggested, mcdba was a logical next step.. i passed "70-228 sql server 2000 system administration" last week and just passed "70-290 maintaining a windows 2003 server environment" today so i'm now an mcdba (microsoft certified database administrator).. i'm now thinking of persuing the 'server track' - 2 more exams woudl get me mcsa (system administrator) and 3 more after that mcse (system engineer).. multiple certification being **a very good thing**

  it will be in print in about six months.

  Welcome Surfacing!!!

  I enjoyed your first post!! I am so sorry you have had to endure such hardships.

  My Mom died when I was 14....we continued at the KH anyways....I got reprimanded for not reading the Watchtower and Awake magazines from cover to cover and was critiziced for not dropping out of school and pioneering like other young sisters did. You would have thought they would have been glad to see me at the meetings, with just loosing my Mom.. Anyways, I understand some of your pain that you have had to endure.

  It does get better!!! You have had a lot of good tips from different posters how to cope during this time....I highly recommend meeting up with some when you can.

  It is nice to feel there is a place where you can really find "unconditional love"...You have found it here.

  for me, the walls of the watchtower were not destroyed by a single giant cannon-ball but rather every brick had been weakened and suddenly the whole thing just 'collapsed'.. i've alwys been an avid reader and a firm believer that you can learn anything and everything from a good book.

  anyway, i was reading a bad book, the creation book, and this time things were different.. normally, the mere thought that the wts could "not be right" could not even be contemplated.

  it was like you can't even comprehend the concept or understand the question, least of all imagine it.. yet now, i read the book and things were screaming at me from the pages.

  I can't believe this:

  "Even if you did have the proof it wasn't the truth, I wouldn't want to read it"...........

  Come on...talk about the ostrich position.....they are happy living in their fantasy land!!!

  Dateline is what started my "rose colored glasses" to fall off....I never got dedicated to an org., but to Jehovah...really believed he was using the org. until I saw that show.

  Thanks for sharing your life experience with us and for founding JWD...it has been a lifeline for me!
