  i pertain to a congregation in the orange county.

  from the ages of around 5-16 i went to all the meetings etc etc.

  i am currently 18 years of age, although i am not the ''ideal'' christain boy, i have strong faith in jehova.

  Who do you blame for the time you wasted as a DUB?

  think of all the time and energy you wasted sitting in meetings, going door to door and refraining from making friends and having enjoyable association with non dubs.

  think about how much of your finite life is lost to you because you were a witness.

  think about how foolish you looked, hanging on to the false teachings and empty hopes for the future.

  as most of you know, cc and i moved here, two hours away from my home town so we wouldn't have to run into j.w.

  family.

  i've been walking in the neighborhood, been trying to lose weight.

  I am sorry you had such a bad experience.

  But like the others said: keep showing LOVE...be the good person that you are and that will rise up from the rest of her or anybody elses conclusions.

  I don't think we can ever move away from people involved in the WTBS...Remember at one time we felt like them, even acted just like them, they have been indoctrinated!

  Just show true love, that will make them think!!!

  I have heard that before too...I know of several congregations where at least 1/2 or more of the congregation were on meds...

  If it were such a "spiritual paradise" there would be no reason for the meds!

  yesterday i joined the "surgery club"...can't say i wish to keep being a member.

  it was a same day surgery, but should have stayed at lest overnight.

  didn't sleep much last night, as the pain meds made me itch terribly.

  I was disappointed that NO family members called me .

  I must say your "coming out" sure has taken a long time....geez...especially since you were the one that actually started the whole reason "why I came to this board a year ago"..
