  well it's come to my attention that some of you took thunders poem literally.

  that you now have images as a crazed testosterone filled male.....even some of you that have met him.

  i just want you to know that it was a poem....a very symbolic riddled poem.

  Two Elders Stopped By

  two elders approached me yesterday afternoon while i was doing a bit of work on my car.

  unsuccessful at reaching me in my home (mostly because i don't answer the doorbell when they come) they saw me outside and decided to stop to talk.

  the conversation did not go especially well.

  Nodenial keeps letting them back in till the last visit.

  He wanted me for a "witness to his comment".

  I told him: that is the last time......it is way too disturbing to me to feel disrespected in my home. Like they are ONLY interested in my husbands spirituality and I attenended waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more meetings than him............

  NO MORE............If he answers the door I am NOT his witness.................

  What happened with your visit is the exact reason I don't let them in: there is no reasoning with them.

  Plus they insulted me and my husband highly on our "welcoming visit" over a year ago. There was no love shown to us....I was totally avoided in my own home and disrespected. (I know they wouldn't treat an rv or a bible study the way they did me or my husband)

  My conclusions: why am I subjecting myself to this kind of treatment? I don't have to.

  how serious is depression related to your jw upbringing, association and/or disfellowshipment?

  should this kind (or any other kind) of depression that lingers long after the wt smoke clears go untreated?

  Depression is SERIOUS..............

  People that are in a "high control group" or have been and left can suffer from depression easily.

  I have been fighting it for a year now....not very well either.
