The "Devil's Calendar" or "The Calendar of Jehovah God".

jehovah's witnesses often argue that things identified as of pagan origin ( "of the devil" ) must be rejected or abandoned regardless of the consequences.an example of this begn to appear in the 1935 year book where a new calendar to replace the gergorian ( in use since the sixteenth century ) was published on the page before the daily reading.. all of the foregoing calendars--jewish,roman,greek,julian,mohammedan,french revolution,and gregorian are "calendars of the devil'.. the 'calendar of jehovah god' will replace ,as far as calendars are concerned,the efforts of satan to hide some of god'sbeautiful truth,now,since 1918,coming out of his temple in such a refreshing stream.. the month of march is now the month of "visitment".and tuesday is now "earthday".. god had spoken through his organization.the message was clear:it was "due time"to remove the "devil's calendar"and replace it with the scripturally proven theocractic"calendar of god".. yet in the years following this new "truth"it has been completely ignored by jehovah's witnesses.no one,not even brooklyn headquarters,uses the "calendar of jehovah".. it appears that the witnesses were content to remain disobedient to their own published"truth"and to continue to refer to the "devil's calendar"in keeping their appointments and planning their lives.. so, which calendar are you using,the "devil's calendar"or the "calendar of jehovah god"?.

me,my planner is the devil's calendar or gregorian.the one which the society uses to say over and over "soon".brothers "soon".. .

A friend needs some advice...

one of our close friends is on the verge of an almost inevitable confrontation with her dad re: her fading.

her family is very devoted to the wts, and she expects that she'll have only one shot at presenting her defense to him.

she has 5 issues in particular about which she feels very strongly (not necessarily in this order):.

I would suggest to not worry about the cross thing talk about things that are really important and you will make a bigger impact.

The 'Cross' thing was the issue that made me first think....and it was the start of my mother leaving the org as well. fyi.
