  Blondie I have a great deal of respect for you and your intelligence. Maybee growing up when it meant the difference between eating and not eating was how good a shot you are would make you feel different. I agree that owning firearms is a serious responsibility. Serious responsibilities are taught.

  Yes we should fashion ourselves after the African Continent because they don't have guns?

  Have you ever been to a farm and seen the wild rice and grain growing? There are things there called cows. We harvest them. We harvest the rice the corn and the cows . Sometimes this harvest requires tools like guns and ammo. Its just the way it is.

  Kate, have you ever been hungry and awaiting the next partrige to fly into your sights. I have had a gun in my hands since I was 5 years old. I have never killed anyone. Teaching children how to use a firearm is a responsible thing to do.

  I have lived with the aboriganal people of Canada some were good and some were bad just like every one else. My familly has been here 300 years. It was not cannons or guns that took the country away its what presered it. I am not fasinated by guns, they are a tool, no differnt than a shovel or a garden rake.

  all I am saying is teaching some child about the proper use fire arms is a responsible thing to do. I have lived and survived when the only thing between me and my next meal was 30 30 cartrige. Have you ?

  Not teaching young people the responsible use of fire arms is neglet.
