  The future of the Watchtower Society

  i left way back in 2002, seems a long time ago now and i haven't really kept up with any developments since.. i've kept one ear open and noticed recently there is talk of the wt being investigated over the sex abuse cover ups, but over the years this story has come in and out of the news.. what is everybody's predictions as to the future of the borg?

  i know what most people want to happen, but realistically, are we just looking at certain elements being hit because of the restructuring they did a few years ago to protect from this very thing?

  looking further ahead, you'd like to think that more people would wake up?

  The WT has money and a passel of well paid lawyers who are looking out forthem. They will

  continue to thwart government and law officials and make a mockery of the law until legislation in the US changes to compel them to hand over the data base of pedophiles, their “two witness” policy along with lack reporting to the police and Child protection agencies the child abuse cases rampant within the organization. Until that happens all we have is private orgs. and the media that can educate the masses . about the pedophile problem that they have so successfully kept from the public eye and the other lies that they preach to unsuspecting victims.

  every once in a while you hear people say they actually “miss” their old witness friends and or family.

  some would have even stayed in the organization if they became a bit more liberal and open minded.

  in the past, the former vp has challenged trump to a push-up contest and today he did again , only this time to an 83 year old man who told biden that he thought he was too old to run for president.

  it appears biden called him fat and unlike the man he wasn’t sedentary.

  then he challenged the man to a push-up contest.

  i went to the meeting on thursday night to hear my grandson and my daughter give their "talk" on the misery school!.

  the very first part on the next meeting that follows the misery school was a 15-20 minute part, with a video of course, on the many ways to donate money to the wt!

  the book study this week dealt with jesus and the 10 lepers.

  we have long been told that the isolation of lepers was an application of scientific wisdom long before it was understood in any other context.

  well, yes it could be said that this quarantining did help protect those uninfected.

  Jehovah's house for Sale?

  when i drive by the kingdom hall i grew up attending at but, was sold directly to a church, i get angry.

  the elders who handled the sale didn't even remove the watchtower shaped bricks on each side of the sign near the street so, now they advertise for a baptist church.

  how many times as i grew up i heard things like: you should not do work ( such as clean carpets for a church) you wouldn't want to work at a cigarette making plant or a facility that makes bombs for the military.

  what strikes me as fascinating is the parallel between the druids and the gb.

Recommend this to anyone interested. One cannot help but hear the GB every time Mc enzie Crook speaks. It’s almost as if he is mouthing what the GB is always spouting about being the mouth piece of “God”!
