I concur with both Crazyguy and Teary Oberon.
Just recently I jumped the gun on someone and realized that this forum is a good one for all of us. But in our zealousness to go after the GB and THE FDS and all the other rank and file maggots down the line, let us not be precipitate in our judgement. Lets hear the facts first . Our knives will always be sharp and ready. Let's just use discretion when plunging it in. This guy has been convicted and imprisoned for 9 months -in my opinion 99 years too short of justice. Nevertheless, if the three girls volunteered to come forward-they are mature adults now as well as out of the WTS- then lets just hold our peace.
But this does not extend to that SOB elder who posed the Q" did you enjoy it"? Nor the other 7 perverts who were involved in the "mental groping" of these three crushed women with their sick questions.

Could you post the source of your information please?
hello there i am new to the faith and have been studying for about a month.
i am very excited and hungry for the truth and have not missed a meeting or study since the memorial.
we do about 2 bible studies a week.
That was me . I asked a question if it were so? You have not been "Recruited" -you are still studying. Its been my experience( and I have been in more than six congregations) that the more financially well off witnesses usually gang together and any newbes that study with the congregation receive treatment acording to their financial status. If the newbee happens to be well off they are given the red carpet welcome by elders and the economically well off section of the congregation. (Not saying the others don't), but there is a glaringly obvious line that demarcates the treatment meted out to newbee-well-to -dos and the newbee-not-well-to-dos. Since you seemed so happy with the treatment meted out to you I wondered if you were of the former class.I was wrong. My assumption was wrong . My sincere apologies.
no longer a ms ........................... can't give details atm, for it might be a dead-giveaway and it ain't quite over yet.
but, it really taught me one thing: if you're trying to fade or stay in, trust no one.
and i mean no one.. eden.
Never mind I just realized your post is dated 4 months ago and the last one a month ago. Any wonder I was a JW?

Eden Sorry I posted the first one immediately after reading your first post. So my advice is too little too late. Here is the the question- Are you in a position right now to tell them to piss up their backs?

Please remember that every JWis a part of a herd. Any deviance from their twisted eschatology's beaten path is a red signal that Satan and his demons are at work through the deviant. And needs must be reported to the elders. 99.8 % of the will rat you out. I speak from personal experience. If you aim to fade, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Trust no one in the herd. It's not that they are untrustworthy but fear no matter how irrational-which is the key to control among all cults- is what propels them to run to mama. As for the .02 % -unless you sre 500% repeat 500% sure they can be trusted do not even smile a greeting by mistake. Just to drive home the point -if you say to yourself " I'm 100% sure he is a genuine friend and I can trust him" you are in a very dangerous zone. The test is not" beyond resonable doubt" but Beyond even a SHADOW of doubt

september 11, 2001. riding the bus to school that tuesday morning we discussed the implications of the monday night football game between the broncos and the dolphins.
by lunchtime our entire world have changed dramatically.
america had passed into a new era that would lead to major changes.
I'm not so sure. The Catholic church survived a similar cult like structure during the dark ages and subsequent centuries. Their survival was based on numerous makeovers and of course "miracles" and absorbtion of paganistic beliefs along the line . Much of their survival was dependent on changing their strict stance on many issues. Since the WTBTS is structured along similar lines, I'm betting they are going to dum down their bigotry when the going gets tough just to survive. Like the Catholic church they will begin to "evolve" a strategy to encourage their folowers to stay in. Jw's, largely, have a cult mind set .A few concessions here and there will win them over. Alternatively, a belief of theirs might coincide with a political reality - say a country or two banning religion -making it an exactitude which might do the trick. You can see from a recent post on the forum that congregations are lauding the new"donation" arrangement and fully believe that the FDS has their well being in mind.
Stay and keep the peace by all means . Live here and have fun in the meantime. Humor, Reason, Facts and info.
